We had our first visit to Hot Pot King, and it beat any expectation! We were immediately seated, and our table was ready for us... with some tasty fried chicken bites, cucumber salad, and additional toppings. My favorite part was the buffet style selection.You walk into a room with tons of veggies, noodles, dumplings, meats & seafood, plus desserts for you to choose from. You justtake what you want! I always love a build your own sauce bar, and theirs did not disappoint. They have a wide selection ofbroths (pork is always my go-to). Everything was high quality, fresh, and delicious. Me and two others came here, the two of us got the Thai yom soup while my sister got the sweet and spicy soup, it was amazing.... Even though they added more water the soups still had flavor (like seriously) all the options they had were nice, the layout wasvery nice and pretty, the waiters were very attentive and yea nice place. First you pick your soup base. Hard to do because there are so many goodchoices. I loved the tom yum. Then you go to the buffet and select all kinds of wonderful things to add to your soup. Veggies,seafood, chicken, beef, dumplings, tofu, fish ball, and the exotics like frog legs, chicken feet. You drop them in you soup andin minutes back at your table you have the MOST delicious fare. Requested tomyum soup base, with meats, veggies, and healthy list or provided spices and sauces. The food wasgood however the seafood wasn?t fresh . . We try out different hot pot places and we really liked this one! It offered a wide variety of fresh meats, seafood, veggies and... soup base! The atmosphere and customer service was great! Very clean and as soon as you are seated, the host is already bringingout the appetizers and water! Plenty of space. Great to have a group get together. Each person will have their own hot pot tocook their own. The awesome part...whenever you need service they have this push button stand at your table even though they docome around to make sure you are taken care of.
