The absolute worst Jamaican food! Never been to golden krust. I?m originally from Philly so when I went to try; big... disappointment! Great customer service from the lady I had. The other one had an attitude I?m glad I didn?t get her. But anywho,I ordered oxtail large with cabbage and plantains. Other, side of stewed chicken, two Pattie?s; one beef and spinach. The priceisn?t mathin, honestly. I felt with the oxtails nothing but fat and bone for the most part. I?m convinced they use the sameingredients for oxtail for stewed chicken. This ain?t it. I asked for roti skin instead of rice. Was told no. The rice was COLD and not soft at all. The curry was... hot. When I tell you my stomach was messed up immediately afterwards means one of three things- the food was not being kept totemp, the food was expired upon preparing and/or the curry was not cooked down before adding the meat. Worst customer service ever! The young lady with the red and black braids behaves as though your food is free and you are... required to make a purchase! Avoid her if you go regardless! All 3 times I visited the restaurant I unluckily ended up gettingher! As a result... I will never go back! I have tried this place several times and each time their attitude gets a little worse. NO customer service skills whatsoever,... and the food has become overpriced. In the past I have gotten one order in a certain way, but today when I asked they acted likeI was asking them to drown a basket of puppies. Their food is NOT worth their slow, lazy, RUDE attitudes. I normally only eat the oxtails out of any other place i buy from and because i?m a picky eater i pick... the beans out of my rice but once i tried the rice here i couldn?t even tell it was beans in it and it left me so satisfied. iwould recommend this place if you?re really craving oxtails like i was, it will hit the spot guaranteed.
