The best brisket and sausage you can buy in the area. The only other place to go if this is not open is Heavy D?s in Hondo.... Avoid bill millers. Bill millers quality and flavor has been subpar for the last year and it wasn?t worth the price prior tothat. For not much more you can get amazing BBQ at TNT and support the local community. Best bbq place! Drove here after being at the river and it hit the spot! We had the 1 meat plate with brisket,beans, potato... salad and all the fixings?.amazing and freshly hot ! The owners are very friendly , they sat with us as we ate and it felt as ifwe were dining with friends. The only thing I regret is not taking a pound of brisket and sausage to go lol. Saturday afternoon about 2:30 or so. Pulled up to TNT. A small place that you'll miss if you are driving too fast. I was lucky.... They were not out of BBQ. So i asked for the 2 meat plate, brisket and sausage. This comes with potato salad, baked beans,onions, pickles and a jalapeno. Oh of course 2 slices of bread. The nice lady said they had no seating but i could sit at thepicnic table if I wanted to, with her and husband. The food came out quick and was hot. The brisket was the juiciest I have hadin Texas and maybe anywhere. The sausage was cut into inch to inch and a half pieces. The skin snapped when I bit into it. A lotof flavor in the sausage and the brisket. The brisket has a wonderful bark and great color. So the three of us sat there while Iate and we talked a bit. Shortly after I was finished 2 cars pulled up to order food. It was time for me to leave. If you are inthe area or even close by, I guarantee you will enjoy the food. Read more
Really good food! Stop by today to try this place. I drive by it all the time so I was wondering what it taste like. I was glad... that I came through. Although there weren?t a lot of choices everything was very tasty. The brisket was moist and tender. Thesausage was very very good. The beans were good. I?m not big on potato salad but the potato salad was even pretty good. I woulddefinitely recommend this place if you live in the area I live about 7 or 8 miles from it and it was worth the trip. Tried it! Brisket had just the right amount smoke and salt didn't even need the bbq sauce. Delicious potato salad and simple... pinto beans that made the brisket taste even better!
