It's not like it used to be. Everything got turned upside down. I dont know what subway was thinking doing what they did to this... place. You place the order THEN they make the food... umm why? This isnt a McDonald's, its SUBWAY! The old subway restaurant wasset up in a great way. Left to right, tell them what you want as their making it. It's that easy. Now It's right to left, whereyou tell them what you want, then they make it. It's a waste of time and super inefficient! And what if I want to change myorder? I'm allready going to watch you as you make my food. Thats the fun of subway. Completely ruined the classic subwayexperience. Would not recommend eating here. Perfectly portioned veggies.... Usually when I get the tuna footlong with all the veggies at other places I get mostly shredded... lettuce, but here they portion everything so perfect! Only reason I took off a star is the lack of good seats... I mean, it's ina Walmart so what can one expect, right! Read more
Brought my kids in here to eat dinner before we shopped. We were charged for kids meals and weren't able to get a juice or... applesauce which we paid for. I won't be returning here for any food. I'll go anywhere else in Castroville. I don't like beingcharged for food or drinks then being told sorry we don't have them and not getting a refund. Husband and I went here last night Ive been dying to try there new cheesy garlic bread it was huge disappointment the cheese on... it wasn't even melted all the way and looked nothing like the advertisement with the cheese melted all over the bread and youcould barely taste the garlic spread they put on it this isn't the first issue I've had with this Subway the time before this Iwent and asked for oil on my sub the girl only wrapped it in one piece of paper the oil had leaked on to it and by the time Igot home the sandwich had fallen through the paper this Sunday started out very good but has been slowly been getting worse thestaff is not very friendly and the young kids seem like they hate there job there never smiling or greating people like theyused to!!!!!! This place treated us like we were an inconvenience for Alex to have to serve. My family knows Alex personally and because of... this he didn't even ask us how we wanted our sandwiches. Used the excuse that they changed the way they did things but askedevery single other customer after us, how they wanted their sandwiches. It doesn't matter if you have personal issues with acustomer or not when you're working and that person is a customer you treat them with respect regardless. I will not be goingto this subway ever again as long as Alex is working there. Read more
