I got the 16 oz rib eye. It was well cooked. The seasoned steamed veggies were excellent. My meal included a trip to the salad... bar, and, even though I didn?t get to make it myself, the salad was tasty. Luckily, I got to try the nachos because someone atamour table shared theirs. I was introduced to this place by my in laws a few years back and every time we come, it's an absolute pleasure. The food is... good and great quality. Waitresses are extremely nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is where it's at though, just feels likehome and somewhere you've been coming to even if it's your first time. Definitely recommend! Read more
Delicious food. First time we went we got the nachos. Love the way they do them on a sheet tray. Makes sure all the good stuff... gets on every chip. Second time got the chicken fried steak. Very tender and very good. I would rather mashed potatoes to bakedbut all good. Oh and the Peach Cobbler was even better. Read more
First time here. Food was good. I wish they served food on the patio because I brought my dog. He had to sit in the truck... with the AC on. This place is close to our new house, so we'll become regulars here. Playgrounds a hit with my 5 year old. Everyone seems friendly. Read more
We stopped because we saw the playground and thought it would be nice to find somewhere for our sons to play and get something... to eat. We had no idea what to expect, but are so glad we stopped! What a fun atmosphere! Everyone was so nice from the momentwe walked in. We ordered a plate of nachos for us and hot dogs for our sons. Everything came out quickly and the nachos weredelicious. We just wish we would have ordered a bigger size because they were so good! We will next time for sure. The priceswere very reasonable and again, the people made it even better. Great food all the way around! Salad bar isn't huge, but everything is good and fresh. This is a small, out of the way place, so... I was skeptical of their steaks. Their steaks are surprisingly good! ...well cooked with great flavor and quality meat. Nachosare delicious and sized to be an appetizer or a meal -- you're not gonna be disappointed. Baked potatoes are fresh and don'thave that "they've been sitting in a warmer all day taste". I've never had a bad meal there. Desert selection is limited, butthe cobbler is good. Read more
8/29/2021 the beer battered mushrooms are top notch! I would definitely return for the mushrooms. I also ordered the homemade... chicken tenders..sadly the batter did not have any seasoning whatsoever. I went ahead and let the manager/owner know about thelack of seasoning ...the tenders were cooked to perfection and very tender....she seemed very offended by me letting her knowabout the unseasoned chicken tenders. I went ahead and added salt and pepper to them. No big deal.. but instead of appreciatingme letting her know she said "we haven't had a complaints"..i told her" some people don't like to speak up, but I'm doing itbecause that's what I would want for someone to tell if my food wasn't seasoned correctly..she rolled her eyes and continue todeny my issue on the matter. She said "oh our customers let us know" i told her "well not today they didn't"..to top it off shethreatened my 75 year old dad and my self that she might have to move us to a smaller table if she had a large group come in. mydad doesn't like booths and all the tables were being used at the moment. So we choose to sit in one of the only large tablesavailable towards the back.... Management/owner was very rude and unprofessional. wasn't even asking for them to be remake or arefund the unseasoned chicken tenders just letting her know..she could have taken the constructive criticism to help fix theissue with there tenders. she could have handled that a lot better.
