Over a hour wait on a Tuesday. I mean kids eat free is cool but a hour wait. We received half the food cold. We didn't receive... all utensils so we grabbed them from the table next to us. Waitress came to table to take order and drop off the food. Nohospitality. They didn't come to check on us and never offered refills. The burger was cold with hot bacon. I don't understandhow the cheese was melted the buns cold and have hot bacon. Half the fries were hot and the rest Cold. None of the fries wereseasoned. The pancakes were cool. Fruit was bitter and dry. My daughters eggs were bad. My family wasted our appetite. There aresome fast food and other restaurants in the area. I wouldn't recommend unless you want to wait for bad food. Read more

I love this place. Always go after pumpkin patching in H M B. The service is kind, helpful and efficient. The food is... phenomenal. Always worth the wait in line. This time, besides a sandwich, I had one of the cookies. WOW!!! So good. Read more

Quiet place. Coffee. Good food. BLT. Wife had something with eggs and pancakes. We liked it.

This place is great! There was only one waiter when we were there, but he was still very attentive and helpful. He was very... patient with us and he was very nice. The food was good (better than anticipated) and the prices aren't crazy especiallycompared to other options. We also got a strawberry cheesecake pie to share and it was very good. All around, a fantastic placeto eat at if you're in the area. Read more

Recently ordered a slice of their chocolate cream pie on two different occasions. Hadn't ordered since before the pandemic and... the slices used to be a regular slice size. My most recent orders I was given these tiny bity slices where you can finish in 3bites and mostly just whipped cream! Slices are definitely overpriced ($4) and underserved! Read more

Their location is on a busy corner in Castro Valley and parking would be best inside the shopping center lot. Inside, it looks... like a diner with the original decor from its historical past. Too bad they were out of their famous Oregon Pie so I ended upgetting the chocolate one as suggested. I was told that it was going to be rich and dense, but I think otherwise. Read more

I used to like them. They we're really good before but they have two new cooks, the food took a while, the coffee was mediocre,... the toast was stale and my stomach actually hurts after eating. The waitress is really trying hard but they are limited. Sovery disappointed. A lot of elderly eat here and they seem disorganized. I would never eat here again. The place has old dirtywalls, ceilings and floors and I felt like I was getting bit almost every other minute. This place use to have really greatcoffee, food and service but it seemed like certain people that came in the waitresses would show favoritism too. You need ChefRamsey to come in and turn this place around and a serious deep inspection. Read more

We were seated right away but handed sticky menus and discovered the table was sticky too. The food was okay but nothing to... write home about. We will not be returning as there are so many other choices. Servers were attentive and asked us 3 times ifwe needed anything. They they took our plates after asking twice if we were done so we finished our breakfast as they pressuredus to be done. Read more
