This is the best Greek food I've ever had in my life. The Apollo gyro was just phenomenal. The lamb is well seasoned and... perfectly cooked, very tender. The veg is fresh and crisp and potatoes so nicely with the fries and taziki. The Kalamari... bestI've ever had. Made in house. We had it as takeout and ate it probably 10 mins after pick up and it was still crispy andsteaming. Whole bites of small squid included. With onion, parsley and lemon.. wow it was perfect. We had no idea this place served Greek food but so 'grateful' we stopped and ate here for lunch. We wanted to sample the menu... so we ordered the Apollo gyro, greek fries w/ chicken and fresh kalamari. OMG!! Best kalamari we have ever had. Fresh, notrubbery, dare i say delicate and scrumptious! Best kalamari in the Kootenays. The chicken greek fries and lamb on gyro wereequally as good. Even the gyro pita was warmed up. Attention to detail and everything was made with LOVE. Super impressed overall! They were dealing with a private event, but worked as fast as they could to still serve the rest of... us. Grabbed a bottle of wine for a reasonable rate ($34 for Tinhorn Creek) and then tried the Lamb Souvlaki Wrap and Gyro Wrap. The meal came with a starter Caeser and Greek Salad and the wrap came with lemon potatoes, dill rice, and veggies (carrot,zucchini, broccoli, and cauliflower). After receiving several recommendations I decided to give this little place a kick at the cat, the menu is quite large with... numerous authentic choices and a large selection of pizzas, to be honest I was a little taken aback by the pricing but even moreso once I received my items and was startled by the relatively small portions that being said the pizza was tasty, the calamariwas tasty and not rubbery although the advertised ?creamy Caesar salad? was not creamy, it was dry and bereft of flavour.
