Love, Love, Love Bilia! The food here is fantastic. I have tried so many things on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. And... the new things they have added since moving to their new location have continued that tradition of excellence. The owners, Brianand Mariana are so sweet and Brian is a truly gifted chef. Speaking of the new location, they are now operating with a fullkitchen and staff and they've done a great job decorating and making the place their own. I look forward to eating here manymany times in the future. Read more

Nice small simple restaurant that has authentic real Cuban food. We got three different sandwiches and each one was unique and... seriously tasty. Soup was also outstanding. Service was excellent. All around this place rocks! Read more

Wow! This place is amazing! While the dining room is small, the flavors and experience is not! I have eaten in and had take out... and the food is incredible no matter where I ate it. I had the Milanesa Torta and it was by far the best I've had. My wife iscareful about gluten and loves their Arepas. Read more

Came here for Saturday lunch, it wasn't crowded. There's about 6 tables inside and 2 tables outside. There were nice options... from sandwiches, arepas, salads, and weekend specials along with coffees and teas. Simple ordering process at the register andthey'll bring the food to your table. Ordered the 305 Arepa, Steak Argentino Sandwich, Bahn Mi Sandwich, Breakfast Sandwich, and guava cheese pastry. Everything was delivered to the table within 10 minutes and was freshly made. Sandwiches and Arepaslooked great as they were put together nicely and a perfect crisp on the outside. All were generously filled with freshingredients. Two of the sandwiches came with a soup or chips and I opted for the soup that was very good. I later learned thechips were plantains which I would've ordered as they looked homemade. When I heard chips, I was thinking a bag of potatochips, not homemade plantain chips. I'll have to try them next time. Overall, good food and service. Will come back again totry some of their other options. Read more

Bilia Eatery is not just another sandwich shop they actually take time and care with every single sandwich and are personable... are personable and make sure that everything was right with your order every time. They bring a cultural element to their foodthat is that you can't get anywhere else in San Antonio. Their cubano is the best cubano in all of San Antonio and their othersandwiches are top tier as well. They have a variety of sandwiches for everyone and their hot sauce is an amazing accompanimentto all of their sandwiches. If you want great service and amazing food you need to check them out. Also they're working in atiny kitchen and turning out incredible food so be patient because it's worth it. Read more

WOW ???? I can?t believe we found this place, it was absolutely amazing. The high ratings and number of reviews influenced our... decision to try it out, and it lived up to the reputation 100% The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the decorationsand ambience. We really liked the decorations and style and had a very comfortable feel to it. We ordered the weekly specialwhich was a Cubano and had some extra flair to it (I forgot what it was called unfortunately) and my wife got the jalapeñoBarbacoa melt. The meat was obviously cooked slow and was extremely tender. The balance and mixture of meat, cheese, pickle, andmustard was out of the world. Same with the melt, the flavors and textures were a culinary experience, every bite was delicious. They were served with a side of thin sliced and fried seasoned plantains that were the perfect accompaniment. I had a coffeeamericano with my meal and my wife had a blueberry hibiscus tea. We finished it off with two of his desert empanadas. I likeempanadas but I?ve never had any as good as these were. They were how I want an empanada to taste every time I eat one. Soft, sweet in the middle, full of the stuffing, so good ???? I?ve eaten at a lot of places, from fine dining to fast food, and I cantell you this is a hidden gem. The place is owned and run by Brian and his wife, super nice guy that moved here from Miami. Ifyou want to find a place where you can enjoy a true culinary experience by someone who is obviously a master at his craft, comehere. You watch movies and shows about people like this, who are true chefs and can take your palate on a journey, but arestarting by getting their little Cuban sandwich shop on the corner. Did I mention they create their own proprietary salsa andsell it there? You should absolutely try this place. I can?t wait to go back and try the other things on his menu and I can?tthink of many times I?ve actually thought that, being so amazed that I want to go back and try diff Read more
