Great place to stop if you are tired, hungry or simple check souvenirs. Friendly faces, whether travel to Wichita, Oklahoma... City, Emporia or Kansas City from highway 35. One suggestion, have a big map display to see exactly where are we here. Read more
Stopped here on our way to Emporia. Approached the drive thru and was informed that due to short staffing the drive thru was... closed. We were asked to come inside. We were already running late but also hungry, so went inside. One of the items ordered wasthe peaches and cream cheese pie. Started down the highway to continue our trip. Got to the pie. Not only was it NOT the peachesand cream cheese pie (there was no cream cheese) BUT it was unidentifiable because there was only filling inside (I assume itwas apple, but not a single bite of apple). Also, while inside the store waiting someone came in to order a milkshake(presumably after being asked to come in from the drive thru) and she was informed there was no milk for the shake machine -seems like it was a bad day for Hardee's on the turnpike.... What you get for about 5$ when you buy a "Large" curly fries here..
1st new guy at counter. Ok he is trying. Very dirty-not a clean table -food all over the floor in back. 2nd. I asked for extra... mayo and I went back and asked for the guy at the counter to get me some and the so called nanager got involved which resultedin a yelling match. 3rd we waited over 20 minutes for our food. They forgot the guy behind us - so he waiting until everyoneelse was served and he's like where is mine. Will never be back and management would be fired. I travel this road alot. Read more

Not only did I have to wait 20 mins for my food, but once I got on the road I found my fries to be cold and disgusting, and the... best part, my #10 double angus burger has absolutely zero vegetables even though I asked for extra onion. It?s one thing to beslow and put out hot fresh food, it?s just terrible service to be slow and put out wrong, cold orders! Read more
This is Hardee's, it's not like you are getting a five star meal. There are 4 employees here and they were going so slow. They... actually cleared off orders on the screen before they were completed (probably told to by the manager). These places have timerson the order screen so efficiency can be tracked. They don't want corporate to know how slow they are. Read more
