Definitely fresh products! I wish the jasmine rice and black beans were more seasoned, but the flavor of the pulled pork was... still good. The inside of the restaurant was super clean. It?s nice to have a new place to eat at Parkside. They have delicious food and a great cause, where they donate a meal for every... bowl sold. The ingredients seem fresh and the chicken melts in your mouth. Very flavorful! The portions were small and theymeasure out carefully. I got the dos capos, my husband got a bowl and my daughter got a kids bowl. The chips were good butnothing special. They taste like store bought tortilla chips. Overall good experience. Read more
Have ordered few times now (bowl and burrito) so can confirm the taste is good. I like that despite employee churning,... consistency in taste is pretty well maintained. I though feel portion size is pretty small. At the same rate, someone like Mezehis killing it and has pretty much the same taste with more options. Need to diversify a bit with options and get the portionsize fixed. Location is great, bowl is the better option... burrito is better at Chipotle next door. Read more
Customer Service: Stellar! The young woman gave me suggestions with a smile. I love the vibe and efforts for sustainability and... freshness... However my bowl was mediocre at best. I ate it because I was starving (forgot breakfast this morning). There wassimply no flavor in well anything and the portion was small for the price. The chipotle sauce on top saved it... The setup ofthe pots with food gives you a home cooked meal vibe but I'm not totally convinced the toppings were fresh. The black beans mostdefinitely were not however i could give freshness a pass this time because this resturant is new and I understand its notalways going to be busy so its hard to maintain really good freshness without waste. I hope this place can make it but it needsadjustments in the flavor department and something to stand out from others... I cannot justify going here again over Cava,Chipotle, Moe's, or Qdoba! We came for lunch and had burritos. All fresh ingredients, clean atmosphere and sustainable products (papers straws and utensils... made from sugar cane!) We have no complaints and the manager Susie was super nice. She even took time to answer our manyquestions about the brand (Zambrero?s are mostly found in Australia). This location just opened 2 days ago and they donate mealsto people in need. We both had Barbacoa Beef Burritos; one with black rice and the other with jasmine. Will definitely be backto experience the bowls, nachos, quesadillas and tacos!! Read more
Originally want to give 3 stars, but 2 more star goes to the management and the much better experience at my 3rd visit! My first... couple visits were not so impressive...the portion was a bit small and the black rice was undercook. But the staffs managed withmy complain pretty well. They were willing to remake a new bowl for me with a BOGO coupon. Third time there, the portion isbigger and the chicken is very tasty. I didn't realize they are still in the soft opening period, so I guess they are stilladjusting as well. Hope the business will thrive in Parkside cuz there are no similar restaurant (eg. Cava or Chipotle) close bythe area. Read more
I like coming here for a burrito bowl much more than picking up Chipotle. The dining area is very clean, and the staff have been... friendly and actually act like they care. The food here is higher quality than other similarly priced options. However, it wouldbe great if you sleep on this spot and keep the lines short for the rest of us. ;) Read more
