The service was pretty darn good! We were seated immediately. Waitress refilled our waters/soda. I ordered the tonkatsu with... rice and was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. When I want authentic and delicious sushi, I come to Yuri. The atmosphere is calming, the food always fresh. I have been... coming here for years, and the food has been consistently good and service professional and friendly. I also appreciate howthis is a sushi restaurant that isn?t gentrified, and has authentic appetizers and beverages. Their lunch deals are reallygreat and provide amazing flavor. This is the best sushi restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I have lived in New York City, have traveled... quite a bit and love to go out to eat, so I don?t sing this restaurant?s praises lightly. The sushi is so fresh and tasty! Andif you want some thing a bit more indulgent, the Cary Parkway roll is fantastic! The owner, Thomas, takes great pride ineverything here. While this restaurant is a nice chill spot, the entrees are horrible. Everyone loves the sushi, but they gave me an entire... chicken breast and a half, drowned and pre cut in teriyaki sauce. Not drizzled, but drowned, on a leaf. The chicken texture wasthat of rubber and chewy. .5 of 10, would not recommend! Read more

Been going here since 2011. Always the best fish quality and the way they season the rice is perfect. Tempura flakes are never... once stale and the avocado is never brown. I highly recommend everything from both the sushi and kitchen menu. Their miso isalso superior, idk what they do to it. Their ginger dressing is so good too. Great service every time.
