We went to 2 Waffle Houses around 2:30-3am Sunday morning, 7/3/2022. At the Airport Blvd location there were no customers, & 3... employees, but we were told "take-out only" + "you have to order online" (weren't even willing to take a to-go order!) so weleft & came to the Cary Waffle House. Here it was a totally different story: The booths & the waiting area were both full, &more people kept coming yet Corri didn't turn anyone away. She was calm, & friendly, & told everyone the wait time was going tobe 30-45 minutes, but they'd get everyone taken care of. Her "can do" attitude has restored my confidence that Waffle House isstill the best bet for late night eats. Read more
Honestly I loved this Waffle House but I was eating my grits and found a piece of plastic in my grits. I can?t even finish my... food nor can I call back to let them know because the voicemail automatically comes on. Thank GOD I didn?t swallow it?I?m soupset right now. Top notch breakfast spot! Me and my boys are Kind of a breakfast bunch. So reviewing this place was super easy. First everything... was fresh. We had eggs over easy with bacon and home fries. Home fries were crunchy on the outside with soft moist potatocenters, buttery but not overwhelming. Eggs were cooked to perfection withholds smooth yolks. Coffee refills and fresh OJ. Wesat at the counter which was like watching TV. The team really moves like a well oiled machine. We had a waitress who didn'teven write down our order jus used her memory. And all five of outlr very unique orders were flawless. Dont let her accent foolyou, she is so on point. Quick, easy, and delicious! I got a classic single waffle and one of their breakfast bowls. So good, with continuous coffee. I usually enjoy Waffle ???? house food! Sad ???? to say I recently had a bad experience with my order! I actually ordered the... patty melt meal to go on this particular day! When I arrived home to start eating my meal I had to stop ???? in my tracks! Thepatty melt was horrible! The food was extremely salty ????! It immediately tasted like someone had dumped a whole bottle of saltin the patty melt meat ????! After a few bites I couldn?t eat it any longer ! I would of ended up with high blood pressure if Iproceed to eat the whole entire patty melt meal! I immediately called the store! The manager was courteous/polite I was told tobring my receipt to the store to receive a refund! I was told that the salt comes out really fast ???? and the cook was veryapologetic. Every time I go here I order the same thing and yet I keep paying more and more every time while 1 or more extra items I paid... for is missing from my order not to mention hygiene is majorly called into question when the servers go right from taking yourmoney and your card to leaning over your food to putting the lid on and then bag it without washing their hands or moving papersand orders away from your food!
