Coming from someone who grew up in Louisiana, this was not even close to gumbo. The roux was not complete as it had chunks of... wheat still in it. My jambalaya and red beans & rice needed improvement. We came to this restaurant because we previously hadthe gator bites which were very good. Aside from the bad food we enjoyed the outside patio and our server was very friendly.Would not recommend if you?re looking for true Cajun food. Read more

Very good food and service, as always. Izzy is a sweetheart. She always kept a smile on her face while assisting us, and that... made the experience even better. My burger was cooked as requested and very flavorful. The fried okra was perfectly cooked aswell, and the right amount of crispiness to the outer breading. The Moscow mule was refreshing. The Big Easy has always beenone of my favorites in the area. I enjoyed this experience and I will come again. Read more

I want to start by saying that this salmon is the best I have ever had. The restaurant's service was excellent. Our dinner... arrived hot and delicious-looking. We got the Chicken Caesar Wrap, the salmon Lafayette, which was very good, the Gator Bites, which I thought were a little too salty but not too horrible, and the Taste of Louisiana, which wasn't that bad. We choose aBananas Foster for dessert. For comparison, I've never had one before, but this was really good. If I have the chance to sampleanother, I hope it will be just as good. Read more

Here on a quiet Friday afternoon waiting for tires next door at Discount Tire. Crab appetizer was great and the beer tap... selection was nice. 1000% better than sitting in an Auto store waiting room. Great location!! Read more

I searched Google for somewhere to satisfy a craving for Cajun. I'm so glad I decided to try The Big Easy Oven & Tap. The Gator... Bites and Crawfish Etouffee were fabulous. One appetizer and one entree was plenty to feed us both. We had to save the Beignetsfor later. Corinne was an excellent server and anticipated our every need, even the dessert we didn't really need, but decidedto take home! We will definitely go back! Read more

When in the mood for fantastic Cajun cuisine, The Big Easy definitely delivers. Bruno and B.J. made our lunch experience... delightful and delicious. Arriving at 11:30am- No wait!! We enjoyed the Catfish Po Boy with Sweet potato fries and hot tea alongwith the Jambalaya and Cornbread muffin with the House salad and ranch dressing. Leaving just enough room for dessert, theBananas Foster satisfied our sweet tooth. Bon Appetit!! Read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a late lunch so just sat at the bar. Bar was well stocked with about 10 to 12 beers... on tap. We ordered our food and it came out quickly. Everything was hot and very good. Surprise how much food we got for theprice. No complaints at all. Would have like the gator bits to be a bit bigger. They were good but a little small. This place iscasual. Read more
