Ricci?s used to be my go-to place for good pizza and pasta close to my home. The last few times I?ve visited have been extremely... disappointing. A few months ago, my family and I visited and asked for our food which took a ridiculous amount of time to get (Ibelieve we waited about 2hr for our food. There was a birthday event going on, but we arrived way before that started and didn?tget our food for hours for some reason!!). They apologized to us but NEVER offered any type of free dessert or discount. Icouldn?t believe it! Then, last week my brother in law took my two daughters to eat dinner there and after waiting 30min for atable, they inform them that they have no chicken or beef, that the only item they had was shrimp. Then, their pasta was veryundercooked. They complained about this but we?re not offered any type of discount at all. I am posting this review because Ireally would like for Riccis to get things under control. We really like the owner and his daughter, and really valued thisrestaurant when things were good. I am not sure if it?s due to staffing shortages or supply issues but I really hope that theyrealize that if things aren?t going well for a customer, a small discount would go a long way! Read more
This place used to be great. It just gets worse and worse. I'm so over it. A pizza for pick up. Walked it from shop to car.... Opened it up at home (2 minute drive, no bumps, nothing). This is what it looks like. Go somewhere else. They don't careanymore. Read more
I went to Ricci?s Trattoria in early August this year (2022). Taylor was my server and she was very professional and so... friendly! I talked to the owner and chef of the restaurant, Ricci, after my meal. He was so down to Earth and is from New York.I was born in Long Island so it was really great talking with him. I ordered the Melanzana Rollatini (Eggplant Rollatini). Myserver, Taylor, recommended it when I asked her, especially if you like ricotta cheese?she felt that would be a good choice andboy was she right!! It came with fresh garlic green beans and potatoes. The portions are a really good size. I loved theMelanzana Rollatini! It was so delicious. The garlic green beans and potatoes were wonderful too. I ordered a glass of theRiesling wine. It was the Kung Fu Girl and it was Excellent!! My boyfriend was out of town so I came by myself that evening,but will definitely be returning with him sometime. Delicious Italian cuisine in Cary. We decided to try this restaurant for our daughter's 21st birthday dinner and wasn't... disappointed. I'm from a true Italian family and thought their sauce was spot one. Our table had a variety of entrees and wewere very satisfied with the quality, taste and portions. The owner even came out, asked how everything was and then quicklyreturned with a free dessert to go! We'll be back soon to try their pizza. Read more
Real Authentic NY style and quality Italian cuisine in Cary, NC! Their tomato sauce is fabulous. The staff is very attentive... to their guests needs and requests. I have just relocated to NC from NY not too long ago with my fiancé. We have tried majority of the pizza shops here only to be... disappointed. Nothing has been comparable to the authenticity of pizza and food back home until we stumbled upon Ricci?stonight. First of all the food was more than outstanding.. it was delicious, warm, flavorful, affordable, and tasty. (They alsoare not stingy with the portion sizes!) The owner was so kind and embracing. In fact we had learned he grew up in Long Beach, LIwhich escalated to bonding over our love and appreciation for NY and the pizza. The service and environment were astronomical.Our waitress Taylor was so sweet, detail oriented and ensured every moment that we were taken care of. My fiancé and I hadwalked out with a smile on our faces which rarely happens anywhere else so I promise that you will not regret coming here. Ifyou are nostalgic for NY style food/pizza, this is the place for you. Everything was perfect and now we no longer have to huntfor top quality Italian food. Read more
We waited an hour for a table. Once sat, we noticed the waitress was busy and put in our whole order. The drinks and garlic... knots came on time. Then we waited at the table for 2 hours for a pizza. Our waitress, who was fantastic, kept reassuring us thepizza was coming. At 10 minutes to close, she told us that the pizza was in the oven and that she was turning it because therewas an argument in the kitchen. AN ARGUEMENT IN THE KITCHEN?!? Our food never came. Our waitress told us to leave and comped thedrinks and garlic knots. 3 total hours from putting our name down to leaving and all we got was one round if drinks and garlicknots. Unacceptable. Read more
