I think I had the best French onion soup in NC here. Seriously so good. Our server Erin was incredible?knowledgeable and... friendly! I ordered shrimp (a little disappointed because there were only three of them) and my partner got tortellini. We alsopicked up a red pepper cheese to go. Will definitely come back soon! Edit: I did wind up coming back on a Friday night. I wasupset that we weren?t seated for almost twenty minutes, and we didn?t get water or silverware until almost half an hour later. But they were down three waitstaff tonight so that?s understandable. The entrees we ordered were okay, the scallop appetizer wasincredible, and the free cannoli was out of this world! Read more

This place is fantastic. Really really fantastic. Everything on the menu looked so good we couldn't help ourselves. We started... with pate. Yum! Escargot even better! Wife had the Lamb chops. Devine in her own words. Chicken parm was top notch, especiallythe red sauce! Raspberry cheese cake just because. Service was excellent! Thanks Kalvin! Atmosphere was fun! Feel lucky to havefound it and we'll be back! Read more

My husband and I, and our 2 kids?10 and 6?visited Pro Epicurean for the first time yesterday. We visited for a late lunch, and... were impressed with the quality of both the service and the menu. Our server, Erin, was friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. Inoticed that she specifically spoke directly to our children during every interaction table check-in?I so appreciate this as ithelps us in our goal of teaching them good manners, how to order politely, and how to treat speak to and treat people the rightway in the restaurant setting. So many servers ignore children and only speak directly to parents, and as small a thing as itis, I appreciate my kids being treated as valued guests by someone who clearly likes kids. This said, Pro Epicurean is not asuper kid destination?I?d probably do fellow diners the solid of heading to a more noisy and family centered destination if Ihad toddlers or little babies who weren?t sleeping. But this is personal preference as we also are conscious of those rare timesout when we just want a quieter spot with other adults. Great space, very clean, and a nice atmosphere. Would definitely returnto try more menu options with just the hubs. Can?t compliment Erin enough. Just a bubbly and delightful lady. Read more

The service was excellent! We had a slice of limoncello cake and it was pure perfection - light, creamy filling and delicate... sponge. I ordered the monet chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the Michaelangelo sandwich. My husband thought his sandwichwas good but not spectacular. I really enjoyed mine: thick slices of chicken breast, greens, gruyere, and a tasty sauce. I thinkthey were a little heavy handed with the sauce, but it was still great... that is until I found a hair in my sandwich, ew. Thechips were not my thing - housemade, which to me can taste a little burnt. Parking is in a lot in front of the restaurant andgets slightly crowded, but there's more parking nearby. Read more
