Their seafood Tom Yum ramen is absolutely phenomenal! I loved the broth, and they were very generous with the shrimp and... scallops, since I didn?t ask for squid. The karaage was pretty well fried, and the sauce was okay. I was more impressed by theramen. My broth was more flavorful than the spicy miso that my boyfriend ordered. I came back again and again to try differentramens. The chicken curry had lots of chicken! The broth was so creamy and delicious. I liked it in a different way from thesour/spicy seafood ramen. I've ate at quite a few Ramen restaurants and this one is a very good one. Not to salty... just right. I had the Black garlic... paitan. Meat was nice and tender. Egg was cooked perfectly. I definitely recommend trying this place! Read more

I happened to be in Cary at lunch time and saw Koi Ramen had some really good looking food. The restaurant is fairly small... inside but the food is amazing. We couldn't have been happier with our two ramen choices. I got the yellow curry with chickenand she got the black garlic ramen. The yellow curry was sweet and creamy while the black garlic was savory and packed full offlavor. The pork with the black garlic melted in your mouth and was unbelievably delicious. Read more

This is the best ramen I have found in Cary. Small interior, simple menu, and really nice staff. It's also a great price for the... size of the bowls you get. All the smaller bites we have tried have also been great. Read more

Dined here with my father for a father-daughter date. We got ika geso (fried squid tentacles) and gyoza to start. Both... delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the tenderness of the squid. I ordered the chicken yellow curry ramen; my father ordered blackgarlic paitan. We enjoyed everything and left nothing behind! Definitely recommend. Read more

Black garlic ramen and dandan are both fantastic! If it's your first time, try the black garlic you won't regret it. Been back... several times and that is always a staple. Once they get beer, this place will be perfect. It's a bit tight so if you have alarge party (4+), I would call ahead. They have picnic style tables outside as well. Read more

If you're going to eat ramen in Raleigh, this is definitely the place! I searched for a ramen shop and saw a picture of their... ramen and decided to go here! Because I'm Japanese, I grew up in Japan, and I can tell by the way it looks if it's real or not. This is traditional Japanese ramen, no, not just that. It's not an old fashioned ramen, but a ramen with basics that has evolvedfurther. The amount of ramen and the amount of fried food is just right. Every little detail has been thought of. One word:excellent. I'll be back for more! Read more

Koi Ramen is a nice place to visit, especially between 7-9PM. A clean place with a delicious selection of menu that?s distinct... with a taste of culture. I?ve been to several Asian countries many times and this place simply invoke some good memories ofpeople, places, and friends. The spicy Miso Soup is a good one for me. It?s creamy rich, moderately spicy, and unique. Read more
