Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, and excellent food. Overall atmosphere was quite pleasant with indoor and outdoor seating... available. The staff checked on us regularly, making sure we had sufficient drinks, breads, clearing dishes, and generalfollow-up. As other reviews mention, dined around 5:30 pm with no crowd. This may have assisted in the attentiveness of the waitstaff. Food was excellent with nice presentation. Portions were sufficient to satisfy with most other patrons I saw notfinishing their meals, or taking some to go. The Tomato Basil Soup was cooked to a smooth consistency with a little creamthickening to keep it from being watery. The tomato was not too acidic, so not harsh on the palate. I especially enjoyed theGnocchi dish that had a sauce of beef, pork, red wine, with a tomato base. The red wine in the sauce added a nice flavorcompliment without being overbearing. The ground meat was a little overcooked, but not excessively. Just a little dry despitebeing in the sauce, though it did not detract from the dish as a whole. Gnocchi was excellent in size and consistency and stillhad a touch of the potato flavor. The dessert was also a nice close to the meal, having a very lightly sweetened custard toppedwith a quite sweet strawberry coulis. If you prefer less sweet desserts, I would recommend ordering the custard without thecoulis. It had a very silky smooth texture with mild vanilla flavor. I do like the sweets, so the strawberry coulis was a nicecompliment. Read more
Could not ask for a more perfect authentic Italian restaurant. My friends & I stopped here for coffee & dessert and were... welcomed, even though the restaurant was closing soon. The espresso and cappuccino were heavenly and limoncello cake divine. Ilook forward to come here regularly. Added bonus, my girlfriend was able to speak her native Italian tongue with the employees -totally made her night! Read more
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! This restaurant is delicious the food is beautifully plated with great customer service and a fine menu... to choose from. Great pricing and quality food most importantly quality service and people. The staff was wonderful it was myfriends birthday and they surprised her with dessert. They also popped a bottle of champagne while they were closing tocongratulate my friends on there wedding just because.
