I used the drive through later at night during a tropical storm. The order taker ( receipt says Ma'Konaughey, cool name btw) was... really welcoming and made me laugh when he said " it's a great night here" great attitude! He also gave my dog a pup cup and shewas not disappointed. He was very polite and I hope he made it home safely, walnut was flooded out front. My experience therewas great and the food was hot. Garbage customer service. Very unprofessional and non courteous staff. Went there for lunch and I ordered at the drive thru. The... girl taking orders kept rushing me and I told her to please not rush me since I was asking my family what they wanted.(they weresitting in the back seat) I finally get to the window and all the staff kept staring at us and making rude gestures. When there is 1 car at the drive-thru holding up 7-8 others stacked up, ask them to park and move on to the other cars behind... them. Our blizzards sat so long that they were soupy by the time we got to the window. The key isn't to wait to make theblizzards. It's Dairy Queen! The desserts there are great! The burgers there taste like McDonald's before they started serving fresh... burgers; so disappointing. Their chili dogs are good! The service at this restaurant is really good. Read more
MELTED. We ordered a Blizzard and an ice cream cone at the drive-through. The customer ahead of us placed a large order that... took some about 5 minutes to complete. Our items were apparently made while we were waiting for our turn at the window andstarted to melt. Before they gave us the Blizzard I could see them doing something with it, likely draining the liquid. Whenthey handed it to me they did not turn it upside down (probably didn't dare too...) as they advertise. On the off chance theowners actually read this, so you know which employees need further training, it was Sunday May 15 at 12:25 PM. This used to beour favorite DQ until today.
