Great little place for drinks and small plates. Drinks were good, food was tasty and good portions. Our free charcuterie board... was a meal in itself, so we then skipped to dessert! The staff was friendly but could have been a little more attentive. Therewas even live music on a Wednesday night! My friend and I went for dinner to get in on the free charcuterie promo, and we had so much fun! We were so shocked at the size... of the board and how filling it was- definitely more than enough food for 2 people. We also tried the patatas bravas and fishtaco which were both delicious. We finished off with the coffee chocolate chip gelato (a HUGE portion of gelato) and the crèmecatalan. Between the food and the drinks, I will definitely be coming back in the future! Also the live music was such a nicetouch. Although we did get our charcuterie board for free, the rest of the dishes were a reasonable price and only ended upspending about ~$35 a person. Read more

We had been wanting to try Catalan for a while - we love the Tapas experience. We finally made our way over there and so glad... we did! We have been there 5 times in the past month now (twice this week!) The food is delicious, there is a great drink menuand awesome draft beer selection...and in this day and age of staffing issues - the service is fantastic! And we love that therestaurant is welcoming and inclusive. It checks all of our boxes...we'll be back for many more meals - out new favorite localspot for sure! Read more
This was my second time eating at Catalan tapas bar. I originally came here because I was craving paella. While their version is... not the pan served paella, it’s still very good. They are also able to modify the dish to accommodate for my allergy. Whatmakes this place great is the live music and the decor. They support local artists. Even the advertisements on the table are forlocal organizations such as the wake county animal shelter. Whoever the owner(s) are really cares about the community. The foodis always great too. I also got the crab cakes and mussels which were both super fresh. I would recommend any seafood item here. Read more
Excellent food and service. Our waiter was friendly and helpful on beers, wine selection, and food choices. Highly recommend the... crisp pork belly and the chicken taco. Dessert with the Catalan creme is wonderful as is the Chocolate mouse combination. Theonly improvement for the establishment is to time the delivery of dishes so both arrive near or at the same time for everyone atthe table. Otherwise, great place! Read more
The best tapas I’ve ever had! Come with friends so you can enjoy a variety of foods, good vibe, decent entertainment, and... great service. My friends and I tried six different dishes, and everything was fabulous. Don’t miss this place if you evervisit Cary! Read more
The food and the drinks are really great. 3-4 tapas is a sweet spot, leaving just enough room for dessert. The place does get... crowded, so reservation ahead is highly recommended, especially if you prefer to sit inside during colder months. The staff isreally friendly and professional, although the service can be a bit slow during rush hours. Read more
