I hesitate to not give a stellar review because our waitress was phenomenal But I have a bone to pick with the Bonefish grill.... Thr waitress wa perhaps one of the best we've ever had. However the food left much to be desired. I have eaten at other BonefishGrills and the food was not up to the usual standards. We started with the bread which was good and it came with olive oil todip it in. The calamari was very good. It was an ample portion and came with strips of fried red bell pepper. It was the maincourse where things went downhill. I ordered bang bangs tacos and there was very little bang for my buck.They were very bland,almost flavorless. It came with coleslaw that was similarly tasteless. My wife had a parmesan encrusted trout which was verygreasy and caused stomach aches the rest of the day. The Cod Imperial is a customer favorite on the menu here for a reason. The sauce was stupendous and so was the fish. I had the... spicey and sweet bang bang shrimp for an app and ended my evening with the restaurants signature smoked old fashioned. Thisbeing 1 of several signature drinks offered here. The food here is amazing and we had a wonderful experience. All of the food came out really fast and our server Christopher... Cross was kind and attentive to each of us (and there were 12 of us lol). He didn?t mix up any of our orders and madecelebrating my grandmothers birthday even more enjoyable! Read more
This take out experience was absolutely horrible. This is based on the quality and quantity of food. $74 later what a waste and... I want a refund. As you see from the salmon plate it looks like a child?s menu portion.This was the large portion. I hate to seethe small that would be only enough to feed a gerbil. The corn chowder tasted old and spoiled. It is thin an not edible. Ihope I don?t get sick. The only plus was that shrimp were large, flavorful and fried nicely but for each of the orders (2) I got10 fries. Bonefish you should be ashamed to serve this. Read more
First time in the Cary location. Been several times at the Northern VA ones. The parmesan crusted rainbow trout is as yummy as... ever. Finished it off with their seasonal white chocolate, coconut key lime cake. Delish! Read more
This place is okay. I want to love their food so much but it's just often lacking in actual flavor. Like, I don't hate it, and I... wouldn't say it's bad but there's nothing about the meal that makes me say, "oh that was awesome" or "I'm so glad we camehere." We recently ate here and ordered sides and appetizers. We went because we had a gift card, and figured it needed to beused after 2 years in a drawer. The crab cakes were alright, the broccoli was way undercooked, the dumplings were the bestthing we ordered and pretty good! The bang bang shrimp wasn't spicy, which I had remembered from years ago. Wish it had a kickthis time. The mashed potatoes were so bad I swear they used a powdered mix. Long story short this chain has a lot of potentialbut somewhere between the recipes and the execution, it's not worth the price tag. Read more
Great food and atmosphere. We usually sit outside (better to call and reserve) and we enjoyed our food thoroughly. The menu... isn't that big but everything on the menu is delicious. From their clams to their shrimp, their rainbow trout and steakseverything is really amazing. Even their bar drinks are on point, the mule is absolutely fantastic. Service is prompt andfriendly. Definitely our go to for some fine casual dining. Read more
Pretty good overall. I found the mashed potato serving size to be a little skimpy but the food was delicious. This was my first... time returning to a Bonefish in over a year and it was nice to see that the prices hadn't skyrocketed. Our server was warm andknowledgeable about the menu. Food came out very fast and this was a great location for a chill, early dinner on a Sunday. Read more
