My family and I had a great experience here. Great atmosphere, our server was amazing and my foodie brother lived everything he... tasted! The guys loved the selection and flights of beer. Personally, the potato salad is to die for and the Soul Egg Rollsare so unique and amazing. I had the brisket before and it was super Juicy. Tonight it was a bit dry but we did notcomplain. Great local spot for authentic BBQ, and the sides are delicious, make sure to get the Sriracha brussel sprouts! They use a dry... rub, which is what I prefer to pasty sauces some places use for flavoring. The burnt ends were much better than the ribs, whichcame out a bit soggy for my liking. My partner and I went on "Taco Tuesday" for 1/2 off taco's and beer. We each had a Brisket and a Pork taco, she had the potato... salad side and I got the mac n cheese. All top grade! Between us we had 3 beers and even sampled two others! The total wasonly $30! Wow! Read more
First off, the burnt ends were amazing and why they get 3 stars. The Mac & cheese and smoked potato salad were tasty, and the... sausage had a nice snappy casing. Unfortunately, the other meat (chopped BBQ, chicken, chicken wings, and slice of brisket) wasextremely dry, lacked flavor, and the brisket was tough to cut with a knife. It was not fall apart, fork tender like the burntends. The kale slaw left very much to be desired, as it was literally some kale with shredded carrots and a light vinegarcoating. We generally like this place. Really great tasting BBQ sauce. Sometimes the chicken is dry but it's white meat so it's hard to... not let it dry out. I always get the smoked potato salad - love it when it's a little hot. It's not the typical potato salad,it's smoky and cheesy. I think it's best to eat it when it's at least warm. The mac and cheese is really good, made with Gouda.I could have done without the Brussels sprouts - over sauced for me. My partner loves the brisket. The server was awesome. Shemade it extra enjoyable. We went around 2pm on a Sunday and the place felt cozy. Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Read more
