Best brisket in East Texas, hands down. Absolutely contends with the big boys in the hill country. Chuck is a fantastic dude... and the staff is awesome. Get there early. Read more

Food is excellent, place is neat and clean. Just a real "down home" feeling. I came for a take-home order........ and a first... time customer too. I had seen them advertised on tv,. They have a great barbecue taste going on. !!!! Some of the side orderitems are different than I personally like....... but. My mother and my wife just can't cook for everyone !!! We had the brisket, ribs, potato salad (no fries) and beans. I witnessed all the meat being warmed in a microwave. That was a... red flag because they have a sign at the entrance that states basically don't ask how long because the tastiness of their BBQshouldn't be rushed. None the less it wasn't very good. I imagine people think this place is good because there's nocompetition. Drive to Marshal and get Bodacious if you want good BBQ!! Their Rib plates will be worth the drive. Read more
