I cannot say enough about Gage and Matt. Outstanding customer service has become almost obsolete these days, and for that reason... my husband and I just don't get out as much as we used to! Anyway, a couple of months ago, we stopped at waffle House bygrassdale and Joe frank Harris parkway and even tho the food was good, the service was horrible and it seemed a very hostilework environment where we weren't comfortable at all. Waitress was a real jerk. I wish I could remember her name. This waffleHouse is the one we chose and have been going twice a week since. Melvin and 1st shift rule at this location, but sadly third shift needs work the new girl Alice is rude and needs to be taught... to stay off her phone take the headphones out and clean tables. Gage was not there he usually seats people and this is where myconfusion starts, when its 2-3am no customers and Alice tells me TO-GO only makes no sense. Multiple tables dirty! No silverwarefor to-go orders she claims. I was hungry and just got off work after working over 18 hours in a day straight. My job is manuallabor I wanted a hot meal. Went down to the location on Joe Frank Harris across from QuickTrip which is out of my way but theonly place open. I was pleasantly seated and told by all the workers they are not allowed to say ?its to-go only? so that mademe frustrated being I drove all the way over there to find out she just did not wanna work or the cook didn?t either way.Someone needs to train her customer service. Please for the love god get debra and Chris back!!! This new Alice chick is not gonna cut it! I?m not one to complain but she... left a table dirty for thirty minutes while guests were waiting. Mind you they were not busy at all. On top of it all she toldus she accidentally burned the waffle and tried to serve it to us. This is Waffle House truly needs prayer. The most pleasant experience at a Waffle House. Warm welcome, cook was quick, friendly and experienced. They were playing nice... songs and all waitresses and cooks were singing. They were having a good time serving others. Seeing happy souls made our day! Read more
