My husband and I stopped by unexpectedly into this gem of a restaurant! We were welcomed by the sweet staff and engaged in... conversation with us. When it was time to pay they said a couple overheard us talking (we?re from Chicago) and they payed forour breakfast. Not one greeted me when I entered. Staff was standing around talking. I seated myself and waited quite some time. The person... that walked in after me seated himself and waited only a few minutes to order. I told the waiter that I was there first and shesaid she knew. It's waffle House! You either love it or you don't. This particular waffle House appeared clean for the most part on the inside... and the parking lot was easily accessible from the main highway. The waitress was very nice and filled my coffee as needed. Shecame over two times after she delivered our food to see if we needed anything else. It's my first time at this waffle Housebecause we just moved to this area. I would definitely go back there on occasion. Read more
Walked in half the dinning room was closed and one open seat at the counter that was dirty. Stood there for about 10min a couple... walked in and left. 10 staff members on the clock working and not one person acknowledged me until I asked if someone couldplease take the dirty plate and wipe down the one open area. Manager was busy eating and a server decided to comment rudelysomething regarding the dining room party was closed. Her response to nobody acknowledging me I guess since I had mentionedthat. I frequent Waffle House weekly and will take my business to one that?s farther from my house from now on. They got upreluctantly to clean that area, but by then I was over the situation and the fly?s so I left telling them I?d just write areview. 20 years plus managing restaurants under my belt and poor service always sets me off be it by staff or managementbecause I was always held at the highest level when it came to customer service. I came on my lunch break with a few coworkers. It took 30 mins to get a table the place wasn't busy and they were double... staffed. There were dirty tables everywhere and no one would clean them off. We will not return to this location for a whiledidn't have a great experience and waffle house is my favorite place to eat.
