This was a great place to get together with several old friends. You order at the register, great when everyone pays... individually, and then food is brought to the table for you. The lady that took our order was very friendly and helpful with allour questions and even let me sample the jalapeno coleslaw to see if I thought it was to spicy. I ordered the chicken salad on acroissant. The chicken salad is great but the croissant is kinda dense and the bottom was hard. The jalapeno coleslaw is creamy, fresh and has a great flavor without being to spicy. (evidently this can vary depending on the person that prepares that's whyshe was happy to let me taste it first, which I think was excellent customer service!) The 2 fresh pickle slices they serve withthe sandwich are fantastic and I wish I had gone back to get some to take home with me. I also tried the sweet potato tots andthey're crispy, flavorful, not sweet, and were hot fresh out of the fryer. I highly recommend trying them plus they give you abig serving of them! I tried the fresh cut French fries too and they were hot fresh out of the fryer and just needed more saltin my opinion. I highly recommend this place and also enjoyed walking around going through the shops in the square too. Read more
The food is a little better than average, but not spectacular. This feels like a place to socialize rather than simply eat. It's... almost a little too cute that it lacks much personality. It has all the typical folksy ambiance (chalkboard menus, wood floors, mural, etc) but it's missing something that I cannot put my finger on. Maybe it's a local place and I just don't understand. Where do I start? We were looking for a family lunch spot on a Saturday in between soccer games. Swheat Market is wonderful.... Fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Burgers, cuban sandwich, salads, soups all great. The sides are also excellent. Onionrings, fried pickles just lots of care and quality goes into everything on the menu. Fresh pickles on the side as well. Oh andthe banana pudding. 4 of us shared it. To top it off, the people taking your orders are just so friendly. Great location. Itdoes get crowded after 12. I highly recommend for a can't miss lunch. Read more

My wife and I went here after a visit to the Tellus Science Museum with our niece and we were very happy with our choice. I got... the roast beef grilled cheese with sautéed onions and peppers and my wife got the chicken salad on a croissant. It was about30 minutes before closing on a Friday afternoon, so I was concerned they?d all be ready to leave. But you could tell that theyreally care about the quality of their sandwiches and ingredients. My only regret was that I didn?t try a bowl of theirhomemade soup. If we?re ever back in Cartersville, we will define try this place again. Read more
