I want to update my review of Adams, as most of it below had to do with the pandemic, and their response. First of all, I did... see the servers there begin to wear masks again after posting this review, so I appreciate that response. Beyond that, wecontinue to get food from Adams, as it's always fresh and delicious. We love that they opened on Sundays for four hours andoften take advantage of that. You can't go wrong there. We love the food at Adams; we've been eating there for decades. Whenthe pandemic hit, I know it was hard on them, like it was for all restaurants, but to their credit, they took early precautions, shut the dining room down, and started serving curbside. As regulations loosened up from our ill-advised governor, they openedthe dining room, and though I didn't witness much "distancing" which was prescribed by law, the employees all, at least, woremasks. Slowly but surely, we began to see the masks worn haphazardly by the servers, until they've come to the point where theyjust don't bother at all. I have no idea if the people who cook the food wear masks, or what kind of health precautions theytake, but, quite honestly, the impression I get is not good. I don't care what your political leanings are, or what you believeor don't believe. Health laws are there for a reason. Just because the majority of your customers choose to scoff at thejudicious health recommendations that are in place to protect their lives, and the lives of others, does not give employees whoserve the public the right to do so, even if the owners, themselves, subscribe to this kind of laxness. We had been getting ourmeals to go from Adams, and when ALL the servers stopped wearing masks, we decided that we were not going to expose ourselves toeven ordering inside anymore. Our last order was over the phone, and when the server kindly brought our order out to the car,she was not wearing a mask. As much as we like Adams Restaurant and have supported it for ove Read more

Haven't been here in almost 2 years. After waiting for 45 minutes, finally got seated. Only item I could eat was, due to dietary... restrictions, i had to meat loaf. We were just informed there was no meat loaf. Two guests were with me. So I just sitting here.Nothing to order that I can eat. My visit was almost 2 years ago, extremely bad, repulsive food then. I couldn't eat it. TodayI'm leaving without eating. The waitress was inconsiderate. Obviously, this will be my last visit. So many other dynamic, decentplaces to eat, other than this dive. Read more

I was sadly disappointed in my visit here. I have ate at Adams BBQ for over 30 yrs since they were on Hwy 411 and always one of... my favorite places to go. On my visit yesterday it was really disappointing. The BBQ did not even taste like BBQ. I got a saladwith pork meat on top and it was lettuce a little cheese and little onion and wet pork with a bad bbq sauce on it that you putin a sandwich. It was so bad I couldn?t eat it. The baked beans tasted like pork and beans out of a can. There was reallynothing eatable for the 2 of us. We took a chance on getting Brunswick stew for our neighbor and ourselves. So disappointed inthat also. We should have tasted before buying. Spent $48 on a gallon and it looked like colored water when heated no meat orvegetables. Needless to say, I want be going back. The waitress was very nice good service. I truly hope they go back to cookinglike they use to. It saddened me to wright this review but money is hard to come by and when you get to go out to eat it shouldbe good food or descent food. So sad ???? Read more
