This is a great spot for breakfast. A little pricey but the portions are huge. The coffee is good, hot and strong. I've been... coming to Peg's for about 20+ years, both in Reno and this Carson city location. When I first moved to N. Nevada this locationwas not here, it was a smoke shop. Read more

Been thereva few times. The waitresses were not friendly. More formal. The waiter was great though. This last time I got there... at 1pm. They close at 1:30. My last cup of coffee was luke warm. Couldn't ask for more toast because they cleaned up thetoaster. Its the most expensive diner around. I expect more. Other people I talk to don't care to go there. Frozen hash browns.I like the food. The service is good. They have the best Sausage gravy in town. They kind of embarrass themselves with what they call a Benedict... though. It's a biscuit and gravy with Sausage and scrambled eggs. But they ruin the biscuit by pretending it's an English muffinand toasting it. Read more

Nice place... Decent food. Nothing on the menu is under $14 aside from pancakes which are $10. And $14 gets you 2 eggs bacon... hash browns and toast????. That corned beef hash was $17... Orange juice $6.50 ???? Read more

First time there. Had great service and great food. Ordered the breakfast burger and they got the egg just perfect! Other... places I've gone and ordered a similar dish, the egg is always over cooked. But not here... perfect over easy egg on a yummyburger. Read more
