Reviews for Oishi Sushi in Carson City, NV
Oishi is my favorite sushi in carson. Their crab balls are to die for!
We've been coming to this Sushi place since Covid. It was our number 1 ordering place for sushi because it had the best package... prices for food to be delivered. We went as a family last week or the week before and the customer service just wasn't there. Iknow there is a language barrier and I understand some times English is super hard to read or hear but being rude about it isn'texactly how to go about it. We had a lot of difficulty that night getting our orders across to the servers and chefs and itmade it for an unpleasant experience. We haven't stopped going in, we're just hoping for a better experience. Read more

Oishi sushi is definitely worth the waiting! It has rich flavors and tastes a little crisps on the bottom. The crazy monkey has... a good looking and also tastes great! The seaweed salad has high quality and stronger flavors than those I bought from market. The cucumber salad is good too. Highly recommend this place! Read more
Stopped in here for a bite to eat because I'm trying to find a favorite local sushi spot since I'm new in town. Outside looked... a bit rundown with an ugly paint job and some trash and alcohol bottles outside. Once inside, I was greeted by a friendly sushichef, and a clean interior. I ordered a miso soup, which was only OK, which is disappointing because I LOVE miso soup. I hadthe crazy monkey roll (inside: cream cheese, jalapeno, crab mix; outside: salmon, avacado, Sriracha, mayo, tempura onion, sesameseeds and green onion). Beautiful presentation, and tasty with good amount of heat. Just the right amount of jalepeno, but a bitheavy on the mixed crab and lean on the cream cheese. I also ordered the oishi roll. Presentation was alright (Baked roll -inside: cream cheese, crab mix, salmon; oustide: salmon, and what I think was spicy mayo, maybe chili powder, sesame seeds, andgreen onion. Different heat from the other roll due to the sauce or chili powder that was used, can't seem to see the avacadothe menu says was supposed to come in the roll, but it had a better cream cheese to crab mix ratio. The waitress wasn't veryfriendly, she wasn't rude or anything, just didn't seem like she cared to be a waitress in general. Overall the rolls weretasty, not out of this world, but worth a try. The main reasons that they lost stars were the outside doesn't look wellmaintained or clean and the service was lacking. **I noticed another review mention that the rolls here kinda had similartastes, and I wanted to add that I agree with that** Read more
