This place has been a favorite for years. I have no complaints about the kids food. All three dishes came out fast and the kids... loved it. Unfortunately, my hamburger was one of the worst burgers I've ever had in my life :-( and this is from a place that Iused to make a special drive just to have their burgers. This place has seen better days. Food was overpriced and not special. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't exciting, interesting,... amazing, or a good value. It's hard to justify going here over almost any other restaurant. Service was quite good. Rebecca wasattentive and helpful. The low rating does NOT at all reflect on her service. The busser was a cool chap, too. Menu was prettylimited. Small handful of apps, standard steaks, chicken, salmon, burgers, salads and of course ribs. Only other real barbecuefood was a pulled chicken sandwich. At $17+ and pretty middling. The salad was pretty average. The restaurant itself seems worndown. Everything was clean, but nothing felt updated or modern. It was like stepping into a restaurant from the 90s. Artwork onthe wall looked like they went to the flea market and bought everything they came across. Giant martini glass, buy that!Abstract wave painting, oh yes! Splotchy baseball hitter with oddly located number, gotta have it! Seurat-style city street,sure, let's get that, too! I would give 0 stars if I could. This place used to be good and food used to be way better back in the 2000?s. I?m not sure why... this place is extremely over priced especially for itty bitty cafeteria scoop of mashed potatoes. The condition of the place isquite sad and disappointing. The ceiling are molded and filled with what appears to be water damage seating furniture is alsoway dated. The condition of this place needs to be up to par otherwise it isn?t it.
