one of the last (few?) surviving H. Salt Fish and Chips. Don't come here for the ambience or a 5-star dining experience. I've... been to only one other branch, the one near Studio city. the quality of ingredients has been consistently good. Fish was very oily, there was no one eating at the place but out order still took about 30 minutes to get to us. We were dinning... in but when our food got to us they gave the food in a bag and told us that they are closing you can?t eat here. Like we wereplanning to go and eat in the restaurant when we came in and they couldn?t tell us before we ordered that they are closingtherefore dinning in would not be available? Read more
Fried Oysters were previously frozen. I bit into one and nothing but liquid came out. The breading on the fish is very thick... with no seasoning at all. Do not eat here. There are way better quality fish markets! Read more
Wow talk about amazing portion sizes, they give you literal filets for the fish n chips. They have a perfect crust and lots of... flavor, love the food here, the one cavet I have is the customer service, really nice people but the language barrier makes forawkward hand motions. One of my favorite places since childhood. Some places offer you fish fingers, this place offers practically fish patties! And... the chips (fries) *Chef's kiss* tasty, even without ketchup. Lastly, this may just be me, but the extra charge for their tartarsauce is so worth it! Read more
This place was amazing, Fresh fish clean oil and quicker than expected. Wish I can go today again, it was soooo good. I like my... tarter sauce a little more sour than sweet but not. A complaint just preference we googles best fish and chips and yes everyonelooked happy and excited to get their food. :) will definitely be back. Read more
