I was really excited about this place, but was less than impressed. Before you enter the restaurant, right at the entrance is... full of trash. I came in the morning so you would think that the restaurant entrance would be cleaned up before the restaurantopens. When we sat to eat inside, there were flies that we kept having to swat away. The customer service was terrible. Weliterally had to ask for everything. The waiter brought appetizer but did not think to bring us plates so he brought us (tableof 4) 1 extra plate. Then i had to ask him for silverware Because he didn't bring it with the plates or appetizers. He brought 2for a table of 4. The food was okay. The server neve came back to offer coffee refill or to ask of we needed anything else. Totop it off the tip of 18% is already included on the tab. Which would not be an issue, but at least give some basic service ordo not have a waiter. And just let people order at the counter. The food was mediocre. Had the Patacon with chicken and steak, (pictured) and it was absolutely phenomenal. Well flavored, I wouldn't call it spicy.... I've never been to Venezuela, but now I'm tempted. I really like this dish because every bite was unique, with a slightlydifferent mix of ingredients. All the signs have facts about the country, so we got to learn while waiting for the food. (Tookabout ten minutes for takeout) I'll definitely be going back. Read more
