If I could give -10 stars I would. There was NO air in our room. They had two fans that didn't help at all. Ridiculous!... Don't rent out a room with no air. We asked for a discount and they had a lame excuse and said no. We all left sweating andgross. Will never go back. Horrible time. Will go to an American Karaoke place next time. Read more
Came on a Saturday night for food only, but will try to reserve a karaoke room next time. By 7-ish p.m., they were booked for... the night. Ordered japchae (smoky and delicious, not a huge portion) and kimchi jeon (with cheese, kimchi flavor too mild tho).My friend ordered the chapaguri which was pretty flavorful, too. We've all lived in or visited Seoul and the atmosphere fit ourmemories of laidback beer and makgeolli pubs so we were really comfortable hanging out there. Read more
My first time to dine in Dansungsa Carrollton area. It was at 9pm on a weekday but it felt like it was a long exhausting day for... the waiter. We were welcomed with a long face and a lil attitude. The food came out delicious but not to our expectations. Theserver apologised and sent it back to the kitchen and came back more satisfyingly better food. I've been here twice in one week. The food here is very addicting. It is a little pricey but the portion sizes are huge.for 16... dollars you get enough food for two people, one very hungry person, or leftovers for the next day. I am so glad I found this place. The food here was exceptional and the place has a really amazing vibe to it. The service was a... bit slow but it was a busy day as well. If you like well lit places this might not be the one for you but the food won?tdisappoint. There is writing and art on the tables and wall and we added some fun things too. PROS: The food here is delicious, as always. The price may be a little intimidating at first, but I promise you that it's such a... big portion. We had so much fun. Ordered a couple of drinks of courage & all in all, had a great time. CONS: The room was a bitdirty, including the karaoke remote & one of the mics we had really didn't work well. Our host was a little vage. We didn't letanything ruin our fun night though & for the price you pay. You can't really complain too much. I recommend this place to anyonelooking to make plans with friends. The more the merrier. Read more
The Dansungsa is a cozy restaurant in Dallas that has excellent decor, television that plays Korean music videos - that are... always a treat to watch - and other channels. While the service was slow, it was to be expected due to the food being cooked inthe restaurant. The wait was worth it, of course. The plates we received were colorful and delicious. A true culinary delight.We even shared the plates amongst ourselves to further treat our tastebuds. It was an excellent meal and I would recommend theplace to anyone that asks. I was unable to enter the karaoke rooms due to time but I would if I were ever to return. The bar isalso stocked with a variety of liquors that are sure to enhance one's meal (not mine; I don't like alcohol).
