Stopped here to order a large rootbeer freeze. They took my order after ten minutes standing at the register. Then they took 2... other customers orders for meals. They prepared the meals served the customers that ordered after me. Then snapped a lid on alarge foam cup and sat it on the counter by the freeze machine and walked off. Ok here's the thing, they tried, they really tried. But when your root beer at A&W doesn't taste like A&W root beer it's not... good. In the past couple weeks they've made improvements and have a new ice cream machine and that was good. The self-servefountain A&W tasted spot on so maybe just something with the machine behind the counter. The A&W burger was fantastic.Unfortunately the fries I ordered came from the other onsite brand that's also in this store. The other brand onsite - some ofmy group ordered from this menu and really enjoyed their fish and chicken selections. I'm closing, the staff was friendly, theplace was clean and good. YMMV Read more
The drive through lady was so rude and disrespectful. I asked her for ranch and she rolled her eyes. 1. Their ice cream machine hasn't been working in months. I've lived nearby for 2 years and I don't think I've ever been able to... get ice cream from this location. Today they told me that they don't even have an ice cream machine. They should take ice creamand floats off the menu then, or put a note on the menu (they used to have one posted). 2. They close at 9pm, but they ignorethe drive thru about 30 minutes or so before close. I've heard this happens an hour before close, but I have experience withthem doing this 15-30 minutes before close. Now, they do tell you that they are closed, but they wait until 9pm on the dot to doso. The last this this happened, there were cars in front of and behind us, so we couldn't just exit and go somewhere else. Wehad to call the store to get them to take our order. I would have rather had left, but we were stuck in a forever unmoving lineof angry people. I think they had to take people's orders 1 by 1 at the window, which made it take even longer. I don't care ifyou close early, but don't keep me captive while you do it. Let people know so that they don't get stuck forever. Read more
Staff was rude. They advertise root beer floats, on the outside of the building and they have listed with pricing on the order... boards. But the staff says they don't serve them and haven't served them????? They don't have ice cream???? The floats are thereason we went there. The floats are what A&W are known for. Very sad!!! This location is a combination A & W and Long John Silvers, and I went for the all you can eat fish and chicken special they... have on Saturdays and Sundays. The service was excellent and the food was tasty and fresh. The only reason I didn't rate 5stars is that the food has a lot of sodium. It is one of the few fast food places where the food tastes as good as it did whenI was a kid. I enjoyed my lunch tremendously. Read more
