I had lunch here with my partner. It's the perfect time of the year to eat on the patio and not roast. The lunch menu is robust... and it's a great portion for the value. Service was perfectly paced and we were in and out in an hour or so, having hadappetizers and taking our time with the menu. Very cute, themed location inside two rail cars but unfortunately won?t be returning. Thai is usually a safe option but I always... check ahead of time so we called to check on the curries and if there was a gluten free soy sauce that could be used to make thefried rices gluten free. Was told all could be made gluten free but the Tom yam. When we arrived we double checked with theserver before ordering. I was suspicious, they were wrong about it being gluten free after trying it as it tasted slightlydifferent than I was used to but it was also a different fried rice than I?ve had in the past, but trusted that with the doublecheck it should be safe, then when we received the bill and it had no notes of allergens I was almost certain, then my bodyconfirmed it a little after. The food was also sub par, it wasn?t bad, but it also wasn?t great and lacked flavor. Also, smallportions for the prices, and skimpy on the protein (like 3-4 bites a dish). Read more

First time here and love this place! Great atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. Good size portions and reasonably... priced too imo. Plenty of seating options, including a beautiful outdoor dining court with a gorgeous tree in the middle. Greatplace for a date night or family celebration. This place has such a beautiful interior, whether or not you?re looking to sit in their train car portion of the restaurant or... not. I got the Massaman Curry with beef, and it was fantastic! Sweet, savory, with a little bit of a kick, beautifulpresentation and a more than enough portion, it was such a satisfying dinner. One small thing though, for very spicy eaters, youmight have to insist for spicier than their ?Thai spicy,? because while I did get this dish at the ?Thai spicy? level, it was ata comfortably spiced level, but I would?ve loved if there was more. We were going to a UNC Women's Soccer game and needed somewhere close to eat. Since there were good reviews for The Station and... we had not had Thai in a while and also very few good Thai restaurants in the area, we decided to give it a try. Got there earlyand it was a nice evening so ate outside on the deck that is between the 2 rail cars that make up ther back of the restaurant.Nice beverage list. We had ther green papaya salad that was great and the entrees were good. Solid meal, but not quite in thehigh end range of restaurants. Definitely will be back as had a really good meal here. This is such a cute spot! I really adored every aspect of the place. Makes you think you're dining on a train and/or near a... train station pretty neat! I think Thai Station definitely hits the track running with their great service, nice portions andvalue when it comes to getting a great meal. The food is definitely more Americanized but they have lots of great food optionsto be sure to satisfy a broad range of appetites. I visited on a cold Saturday night and walked into a crowd. This place doesa LOT of takeout/delivery business. I can see why too. They offer everything you'd expect from a Thai place. For me that's agreat Pad Thai, Spring rolls and Thai iced tea. Thai Station will definitely be a place I can bring family and friends for agreat meal at a decent price. Dessert was kind of basic but it did look pretty! I normally don't take pictures in a bathroombut this one's cool they actually built it inside the train car. So cool! This place had a 100 sanitation score so that'scomforting to know. They also have a great location with a decent amount of parking. If you have a large party come early asthere could be a wait. Thai tea was really good here.
