Reviews for Reyes Market in Carpinteria, CA
Some of the best authentic Mexican Food in Carpinteria. The owners are good people.
Authentic and simple almost every breakfast place here claims it's the best in town (lol...they do). This one is authentic and... real as it greats for Mexican California food. Tip the chef! It's delicious, filling and watch out for the red salsa. Somedrops are sufficient for added burn spice. Love it. Pricing is 15%to 30% less than most places here. Read more
Paid $15 for a Carne asada burrito, what I got was a burrito made with cheap ground beef without any seasoning. If I?m paying... $15 for an average sized burrito it should be made with steak. The taste was TERRIBLE. The only redeeming quality was the salsabar. Never going back. Read more

Friendly customer service and good burrito. Mixed the green and red salsa together, came out ????
The marketplace is a fun place to windowshop while waiting for your food. You need to be able to read Spanish to read the menu,... but they do have an English version on their website. Friendly people, and the food is cheaper than a fast food joint. Thedouble burger is delicious, messy, and too big to finish. The fries are frozen but perfectly cooked. Tacos are huge, tasty, andmade with fresh ingredients. My fiance thinks that their chicken tacos are better than most of the "gourmet" places in the area. Read more

It is a traditional ancestral soup or stew made from a combination of chili pepper-based goat meat adobo, garlic, cumin, bay leaves, and thyme, and cooked at a low heat. Birria is slow-stewed in a pot. Read more
