great place a little bit outside of Elgin. place was fully packed and vibrant which made us eat at the bar. best decision... ever. very nice people and interesting talks. food was of good quality, portions more than enough and decently prices. Had atalk to one of the 3 owners after dinner and this guys seem to be down to earth, know what they want and are dedicated to whatthey do. highly recommended. Read more
- Very delicious authentic Mexican food! - The sense of humor in this place is second to none. I?m looking at you: menu. Bring... your parents! Haha. No manches ???? - Favorites: the mole with chicken, carne asada tacos, cochinita was like my mother?s,shrimp fajitas, and the coco loco was a super nice adult drink. - Fresh vibes inside with all the colorful art and live music(Sunday). - Extremely caring staff and chef ???????? They handled our party of 9 swiftly! - Wait time can be 20-30 on a busy daybut I can see it being less during less peak hours. - They celebrate birthdays so nicely! With a loud bang and a tequila shot.So cool to witness! - There is a decent sized bar if you?re looking to watch games and enjoy a beer. - Booth seating was supercomfortable. - Parking was hectic but we found plenty of parking on the side closer to the back lined up by the Forrest. Don't let the simple exterior fool you, inside is a festival of flavor like few others! This was our first time, and we were... VERY impressed. The food looks and tastes fresh, and is presented beautifully. The guac was very fresh and a generous amount,the corn was full of flavor, and I got a burrito so big that I barely finished half of it. The meat in my burrito was full ofsteak flavor, with onions cooked to perfection. The Diablo sauce (which in my cowardice I had put on the side) was like a smokytomato bisque with a powerful slow burn that was spicy but not painful. Next time I'm just going to let them dump that all overmy burrito because it was really good. The staff was efficient and very friendly and the restaurant was brightly colored andlooked clean. Food and drinks were delicious! Highly recommend!! we had 3 types of salsa and chips to start. I ordered combo fajitas w.... Steak, shrimp, and chicken. It was perfectly seasoned and charred. The best fajitas I've had at a restaurant. My husbandordered the tri-burrito! It was filling and delicious. Cocoloco drink has Malibu and horchata! It tasted like a paleta from lamichoacana! Great authentic atmosphere. Chips and salsa 3 ways served at the bar. DELICIOUS margaritas! These are not made from mix - if you... want delicious, refreshing, authentic margaritas - this is the place to come! Owner/partner (one of 3) was very nice - checkedin on our experience. Did not disappoint kept seeing mentions on FB. Very busy at 530 pm Friday night packed actually, service was still excellent. We... ordered our drinks I got Dragonfruit my friend got strawberry Margarita, rcvd chips and three (3) salsas. I orderedChimmichanga whitecheese sauce, I prefer that over red sauce. A small group of us got here for dinner on the $5 margarita night. Steered here by all the positive buzz about No Manches we had... high expectations. Waiting for a table we sat at the very busy and entertaining bar. Good service and great cocktails. Got abasket of chips and some salsas too. Seated at the table the service was fantastic. The restaurant was super busy but theservice was spot on. As a group we ordered tacos, enchiladas and burritos. Didn?t take long before the food arrived. It was topnotch! All very good. My friend suggested this restaurant for us. And I must say, they are hands down, customer service driven. From the moment we... walked in, we were greeted. The server was very polite and he also suggested his favorite martini. The restaurant cleanlinesswas Stellar for the most part. Although I'm not sure how the bathrooms looked. I admired the theme and interior of thisrestaurant. Small but cozy at our booth table, I had the passion fruit martini and it was delicious not too much alcohol and nottoo much passion fruit juice. It was just right! ???? I also tried the fluatas for the very first time and they were okay, Idon't like crunchy corn tortilla.
