This place is awesome!! My husband and I were staying at the beach on vacation and walked there. The bartender was awesome, the... fried flounder was awesome. Went there yesterday at 4 pm. Waitress was nice but either drunk or stoned. Every order was wrong. All our food went to other... tables as well as our credit card. Younger waitresses we?re trying to cover for her incompetence. Owner needs to look at hisstaff. Would have had more adult beverages but waitress was lost in space, waiting for major Tom to contact ground control. Read more

Very happening place!! Stays open later than most places in Carolina Beach I believe as well. I started off with the Hatteras... Clam Chowder. This is a bright chowder with tons of clams, bacon and potatoes. Definitely the best broth based chowder I havehad around here. The pretzel bites were very good, crispy and soft on the inside. The beer cheese to dip them in was pretty goodas well. Very strong beer flavor. They also had sweet tea butter which was made the pretzels taste a lot like a salty donut.Jenn had the hot dogs with chili and I had their flat iron steak. Very good flavor on the steak made of Merlot and mushrooms.The broccolini was cooked nice and the red potatoes had an amazing crisp to them without tasting burnt. Went last night for the first time (Fri 9/23/22). The place was packed, and you could feel the vibe! We started with the grilled... brussel sprouts as an appetizer, and they were delicious. A must try. We had heard about the red & black wings, and my wife andI both got an order each. Probably the best wings we've ever had! They had a grilled and spicy flavor, and we're cookedperfectly. And the homemade Bleu cheese dressing was the best I've ever tasted. I also got an order of mild buffalo wings, andthey were awesome as well. But the best part of the night was our server Yvonne. She answered all of our questions, kept thedrinks coming, and checked on us often, all while juggling many other customers. Once the rush was over and things calmed down,she stopped and chatted with us, which most servers never do. Wow, what's not to love about this place? My family and I visited three times in our short visit to Carolina beach and we LOVED... it every time. The drink menu is creative and puts plenty of alcohol in the beverages. The food is relatively limited buteverything we tried was excellent. We specifically liked the burgers and the nachos. But the main reason for posting was theservice. Every time we went we were greeted with great service. The last visit our food was taking a while, they were busy sowe weren't worried but our toddler was getting a bit antsy. We didn't say a word when our server took care of our next round ofdrinks for us. She went above and beyond to make sure we understood that we weren't forgotten without us even realizing. Thefood came out right after the drinks and it was hot and spot on. As someone who works in food service I have a greatappreciation for the quality of workers and I was blown away by the service and quality of food. 10/10 would recommend. Read more

There is absolutely no reason to not give them 5 stars. The food was so good. The biggest shrimp I have ever had- well cooked.... Flavorful and so so good. The waitress was run ragged but not her fault understaffed as every establishment everywhere is. Shedid her best as did the rest of the staff backing her. GO enjoy but be patient and give grace. This is a sweet little restaurant and bar! It has indoor and outdoor seating, a huge alcohol selection, and that relaxing beach... atmosphere. I got their bacon cheeseburger, and it's one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Heather was our server andshe knew everything about the menu. Thanks for such a great lunch! Read more
