Our food was very good. Good portions for a good price. Everything had a great taste for us. Only thing we didn't like was our... waiter. He was kinda young & maybe new? We asked about drink prices that were on a separate menu (which didn't have anythingpriced). He gave us both wrong prices that was on our bill. He also never checked with us about how the food was. He took alonger time with giving us the bill. I'm not a fan of getting soup delivered with the meal either. You eat the soup & the mealgets cold. Regardless, we will return. Read more

Nice decor, open feel but table was private and not too noisy. Food was okay but nothing wowed and when asked for light toast... and hash browns they came burnt and too dark for my taste. Overall would only go back to try lunch menu. Was huge variety onmenu, just nothing fabulous. We had the steak & eggs, biscuits & gravy, and classic breakfast platter with homemade sausagepatties. They say that you never forget people who were good to you... And when I walked into the door... right away I remembered the... waitress at the front desk from somewhere... She led me to my seat where another friendly waitress took my order and made melaugh about something... And before I knew it... my meal was ready... Now these were HUGE PANCAKES... BIG AS THE PLATE... And Inever seen Sausage that BIG before... Along with Crispy Hashbrowns... and Eggs cooked to order... THIS MEAL WILL FILL YOU UP...And finally... I found out that I DID KNOW THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED THERE... They used to serve me when I was sick a long time agoat MOTHER'S RESTAURANT in Aurora IL... I remembered the dark haired waitress when she asked me about another coffee... and thewaitress at the counter told me also... First time in, arrived around 10am on a Saturday and the place was busy but not crowded. We were greeted and seated right away.... Beautiful restaurant, light and inviting. Clean. Tables were not too close together. Our server wasn't very personable, but didhis job well and our food was hot, fresh, fast, exactly as ordered and delicious. Huge portion sizes...we all took leftovershome. Husband had a skillet and pancakes and said both were excellent. I had the "princess" which was a beautiful mix ofhashbrowns, homemade biscuit, fried chicken breast, cheesy eggs and sausage gravy. (It was outstanding!) Our only complaint wasthat the coffee was pretty lackluster and watery. (But we like our coffee strong.). Definitely not a reason to keep us away! Wewill be back. Read more

Went here with some friends last weekend. A very pretty restaurant with a very light and bright atmosphere. The inside is... decorated with lots of light wood colors. Very attentive staff. I have to say, the biscuits were the best item there! Warmand delicious, especially with the honey butter and raspberry jams they provide (apple butter was also included). I also hadthe Mediterranean avacado toast. The tomatoes and cucumbers were diced very small, and the feta and avacado made the dish meltin your mouth. I'd recommend coming here! Read more

Finally had a chance to try this place out after driving past it several times. Ambience is great and the food was delicious,... we got the corned beef hash with eggs and the Texan Salad. The only issue was that it seemed like they were understaffed so thecoffee we ordered took a long time to come; my order ticket actually got lost so they had to reorder it. Everything else wasgreat, so this 4 star rating is based on the overall experience. I terms of the food, it was fantastic. Probably one of thebest corned beef hash I've ever tasted. Read more

We were in town for regional cheer competition & stopped here for breakfast. The food, service & ambience were amazing! Get the... beignets, you won?t regret it. Their coffee is really great as well & they have a large coffee selection. We may make a specialtrip just for The Tasty Biscuit! Read more
