This is definitely one of the better restaurants in the southern Carol Stream/northern Wheaton/Glendale Heights area! They have... as wide of a variety of selections as you would see anywhere for breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals! There is also a goodvariety of fresh in-house-made appetizers and desserts. Food is good and they have a big variety. Staff is very nice. Great family atmosphere. Was not impressed with the Thanksgiving... meal. There was a special menu. There was a variety of choices which was great however the prices were so high. I know inflationis bad right now but $25.99 for a turkey dinner seemed really high. The Julianne salad was the same price. Also, the stuffingwas not so great. For a regular dinner they are great but was disappointed in the Thanksgiving meal. Read more
Carol's Garden has always been a great place, with great food - an extensive menu as expected in a family style place - but... still have only had good experiences with every item. The portions are oversized, and generally you will find yourself askingfor a carton to carry home leftovers. Do try the veggie inspired entrees, have been impressed with all of them! Read more
Enjoyed the meal at Carol's. I had the mashed potato burger, which was very good (large portion, too). My friend had the turkey... blt, which was also great. She says the iced tea is possibly the best she has ever had, which is saying something. They gave uswarm bread before the meal, which was incredibly fresh. The fries that came with the meal were only average. Service was good,decor/atmosphere was average at best, and prices were reasonable. We'd come back. Read more
Perfect little lunch. I had a really good grilled cheese and French fries. Soup of the day was the cream of chicken with lemon -... delicious. Fiancée had half sandwich, soup and salad. Just the right amount. Read more
Good portions of food. However, it did take quite long for the food to come out but I won't hold it against them since everyone... is struggling for staff these days. Good atmosphere, good people, tasty food. Recommended ???? Read more
Rene the server was phenomenal. Speed of service, food, and drinks were speedy quick. Not to mention the food is crazy good.... Homemade bread?? Yes please. Get the chicken noodle soup as an appetizer and dip your bread in it. Will be back hopefully soon. Read more
