This is a converted house into a coffee shop. There are small tables, communal tables, stools and a chair and couch set for... seating. I ordered The Cobbler which is a maple apple chai. It was so good and I felt in-season the whole time I was drinkingit. The staff were very friendly and helped me pick the right drink when I shared what I would normally order at Starbucks. I'mso happy to support a local business! Oh, and parking is in the back. Read more

Nice coffee shop, best one in Carmel, even though there?s not much competition in Carmel. The espresso is good but not the best,... and the place always seems to be full no matter what time of day or day of week I come in. I will be back, but probably not aregular. If you want good coffee in Carmel though, this is the place to get it. Update to original review: I?ve tried a varietyof their roasts at home for espresso, French press, and pour overs. They do not specify their bean roasting levels, which iskind of annoying, but they will tell you that they are all roasted ?light-to-medium?. After experimenting with them, they aredefinitively light roasts ? medium is a stretch. They were generally very good for brewed coffee, specifically the Peru andColombia beans. However, I would not at all recommend any of the beans for espresso. I?m not sure which beans they use forespresso in the shop, but I am going to have to go back in and order a plain shot of espresso for comparison. When their beansare used for espresso, the flavor profile is very fruity and acidic (i.e lightly roasted). I had to run my machine about 8degrees higher than usual and borderline over-extract the grind to mellow out the strong acidity. Some people like acidicespresso - I do not. The best I tried for espresso was Honduras, but still not to my liking. It?s also worth mentioning thattheir roasts are priced very steeply compared to slightly larger roasters. A 10 ounce bag will run you $20, and it will havebeen roasted anywhere from 7-14 days ago at the time of purchase. In contrast, I can order a 2lb bag of copper moon (fromLafayette) for the same price, and they ship it out to me the day it was roasted. They also offer much greater variety of roastlevels and flavor profiles. However, copper moon has been around longer and has a more dedicated roasting operation. Overall,if you?re going for brewed coffee, their roasts are great. If you?re going for espresso, I would stick to the medium a Read more

Just beyond the construction barricade on E Main St off Rangeline, yes the road is open this far set a gem of a coffee shop. If... you have tired industrialized coffee, this is a great stop! As the name implies, they roast their own coffee on site. Thebarrista was really quick, even adding perfect art to the top of the Latte and served in a ceramic cup. Great atmosphere insideand out, the patio is on the west side, so you can get out of the sun if you wish. Whether looking for someplace new, or a placefor coffee while you finish some work, this is a great choice and wonderful addition to midtown Carmel. Read more

Our favorite place for coffee in Indy! We?ve been going for years and have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is always... helpful and kind. They offer exceptional pour overs, specialty drinks, and cold brew. Espresso drinks are consistently top notchand delicious. We also love the local kombucha and their scones are amazing! There?s a lot of seating which makes it easy to sitthere for hours working, reading, or visiting with friends. Read more

A great coffee house, I always make sure to pick up something when I'm in Carmel for work. I really enjoy the aesthetics, it's a... really good vibe. The staff has always been super nice and they always give great recommendations! Their coffee is fantastic! From what I've noticed, I think they rotate their signature drinks, I always look forward to trying their different drinks. I'vehad a few pastries here and there and I've always been satisfied by my choices. It's a coffee house worth coming back. Read more
