Loved this French restaurant in Carmel! It is very popular for their bakery, which is always busy. I really enjoyed the French... onion soup. I ordered the braised beef ribs and thought it was okay but a little too dry. My friend ordered the braised lambshank and thought it was good and tender. This was the only restaurant we ate at in Carmel. No crowds to deal with. This is a very charming French bistro. Not... pretentious. Very welcoming and one of the best restaurants we experienced during our week long vacation in the peninsula. Their French onion soup with wine was one of the best we've ever had in the entire state of California! Selecting your Frenchpastry at their bakery counter was a real treat. Read more

Came here during Labor Day weekend. All the staff were a delight. We ordered the caprese, rack of lamb and beef bourguignon.... Even got the lovely cookie and scones to go. They have a lot of desserts to choose from. Will definitely return when we are everin the area again. Read more

We had a great b-day date experience !! Best onion soup we have ever had ! Stuffed mushrooms were delicious and angel hair pasta... with prawns were superb. I was not impressed with the salmon though, it was tender but I prefer stronger seasoning. Thechocolate mousse was amazing for dessert and our waitress was nice and fun !
