Reviews for Pacific's Edge in Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA
Gorgeous views and excellent food! Love it there! Tip there is an outdoor patio if you want to sit outside
Best sunset views when the sun shines through. Great bartender Bryan drops some amazing cocktails at a truly snappy pace. We... love to eat at the bar for the best service. Read more
The View is beautiful! The service was excellent! The food was average, presentation was excellent, but flavor was lacking. ... The noise level was unacceptable. We arrived at early dinner but they had a wedding and thankfully we finished and rushed outbecause the guests that were in the lobby were so loud, then the music was so ridiculous, I felt sorry for anyone still tryingto enjoy their meal. Incredible experience! Why? Read below: 1) the service was espectacular; very kind, helpful by answering all our questions;... fast with the attention and the food. Attentive to our needs and always around in case you need something. 2) Food was veryflavorful and fresh. We got there for breakfast at opening time, and the food was served fast. The pics show how fresh are thefruits and vegetables. The bread and pancakes tasted recently baked. They yogurt was European style, and not too sugary. Goodcoffee! Which is a plus, but not refills; so if you need more than 1 cup, be ready to pay for each cup. We ordered americanos;and the cup was rather small, but worth it. 3) the location is unbelievable, check the video I posted. Very calming andrelaxing while enjoying your b-food. 4) the place was very clean and the bathrooms with all the supplies needed. 5)The priceis on the high end, because you are paying for the location, view, food, good service, etc. definitely a ?coming back? forus! Hope you enjoy it as well! Read more
Tim the waiter, was very nice and fast! He offered to take our picture multiple time in the evening, so thoughtful! The menus... here light up! So no need to pull out your phone flashlight! We got two cocktails. Lavender lemon drop and Indigo sunset. Theindigo sunset has some microgreens in it that tasted like cilantro! Both drink were yummy, but maybe not $18 yummy. The indigosunset was sweet overall. The lavender lemon drop it was quite tart. For appetiter we got the shrimp with gigante BEAN (butdon't worry, you get multiple beans) that dish needs more bread to soak up the delicious garlic butter that the shrimp arehappily swimming in! The short rib entree was quite divine. It was very tender, easily pulled apart with the fork. The saucethat it came with was an excellent pairing with the mashed potatoes (so creamy!) And carrots (pretty sweet). The catch of theday came on a bed of risotto. The risotto paired really well with the fish and has a light cheesy and citrus flavor. It wasvery buttery as well. The fish was maybe not our favorite. Some parts of it were really dry. For dessert, we were gifted adelightful black cherry cheese cake. It was an amazing way to end a memorable evening at this beautiful vista. Read more

This place was VERY hard to reach and pretty expensive for what I considered to be average food. I will say this though the view... and the service was excellent and I definitely felt pleased with my experience. They also have a lovely lobby where I took amoment to rest while my ride arrived to pick me up. Read more
