It was just average. Chips and guacamole came with like 7 chips. They had an extra order that nobody claimed so they also gave... it to us, which was nice because we really needed extra chips. We asked for an extra piece of chicken for the kale salad andgot charged for the extra piece but never got it. When we asked the server, she said ?well you got extra chips and guacamole?ok-but not what we asked for. The Korean cheesesteak was ok, not great. I had the double BLT. I ate half at the Yard House and took the rest with me for my breakfast on the trip back to SeaTac. We had... a table for 14 and our server did a great job of supplying us with refills. I did not include photos of the fam, but all had agreat time. I would eat here again when in Carlsbad. Read more

The Yardhouse in Oceanside is meh because... Slow service. First of all, this restaurant received the 3 ???? rating not... because of quality of food or quantity of food, but because of the slow service. When you visit this restaurant during HappyHour you will be happy to get so much yummy food for such an affordable price. Where things go awry is when you wait 30 mins fora To-Go box, or wait 20 mins for a drink refill, or wait 45 mins to pay for your check. The service here is just slow. Withthat said, the waitresses were are nice, polite, helpful, and patient, but their overall performance is really slow. I honestlythink the slow services is due in part to staffing assignments per section. The food is truly delicious - especially when it isat Happy Hour prices. There is plenty of food to order and the details of the food as per the menu hit the spot for whatver itis you are craving. Each crunch, each bite, each fork full is something to be delighted about. The restaurant is attached to ashopping area/mall. So the parking can be a little difficult as it shares parking with other businesses. The indoor dining areais large and busy, not entirely sure they are abiding by covid-19 guidelines. Fortunately, they have an outdoor dining areawhere you can watch sports events on the outdoor TVs.
