Reviews for Toast Gastrobrunch in Oceanside, CA
Delicious food! They also have bottomless mimosas for $25. I need to come back for that. The place itself is super cute :)
Very nice place right off of Palomar Airport Rd. Freshly squeezed orange juice complimented the sandwich I had although mimosas... and bloody Marys were appealing. Very nice a clean atmosphere shows that the business takes pride in its service andclientele. Funny plug: I needed a pen and bought the check pen from our waitress. Probably an odd question for her but when yaneed a pen ya need a pen ??????????? Read more
I read reviews for most restaurants when traveling so that I can enjoy the local delights, knowing I may not be back to this... area. I read a few reviews and focused on the photos presented. One review said they didn’t know what all the fuss was about, but the photo they shared looked amazing! So, I checked it out. Smoked Salmon toast with capers, fresh dill, pickled onions anda jalapeño cream cheese. Oh. My. Goodness ???? It was so well prepared. I evenly distributed the additives for every bite. Icouldn’t have been more satisfied. I ordered a side of bacon (because you typically can’t go wrong with bacon) & yet again:delish! Thick bacon absolutely wonderful! The ingredients this restaurant uses speaks to the care they provide as well as thedesign of the layered meal. Thank you for exceptional service, smooth jazz playing in the background and wonderful food! Read more

My partner and I typically do a Sunday brunch every week. We try to try new places every week, but we’ve been here three times... just because the drinks and food are so good. The prices are very reasonable, specialty mimosas are $11 and the cocktails areall $13. I’ve had one of almost everything and the lavender lady is probably my favorite. I usually always get the stuffedFrench toast combo, and I can’t recommend it enough! The passion fruit caramel is divine and I scrape my plate clean everytime. It’s so good! We do a few drinks, that’s why our meal was a little more. The staff are all friendly, I have yet tohave a negative experience here. You do want to use the yelp waitlist. We didn’t once and waited about 45 minutes to sit. Butthis last time it told us to check in by 1:07, we got there at 12:55 and checked in, we weren’t expecting to be seated, butthey had a table ready right then. It get very busy, every single table is usually occupied til close, so there is a wait timefor things, but it’s nothing ridiculous. Read more
We got there early so it's not crowded. Been heard of this brunch spot and finally checked it out. The food & service are... alright, like other brunch places. It's nothing special. Probably it's best if you have small children & offers family-friendlyvibe. Read more

I'm not sure whether Toast is a chain or not but this place is magical in achieving something that no other diner nor American... cuisine delivers. It manages a creative top-notch diner-style menu in an above-average farm/cabin atmosphere, with generousportions and actually great ingredients. Let me explain. You go to a Dennys or iHop, you have delicious sounding pancakes orFrenchtoast or other breakfast favorites, but when they come out, the bread isn't fluffy and the sausages are thing andcrinkled. Also you start thinking about the cleanliness and the quality of even the coffee. Toast delivers innovative andoriginal takes on pancakes, Frenchtoast and more. And the pancakes are actually thick and fluffy. Frenchtoast is with an actualbrioche. And the sausages are fat and thick and juicy. Yes, Toast costs more than your average diner but no where else will yoube able to find a joint maniacally focused on serving a great brunch (the kids go crazy) at a lovely atmosphere. Oh yes, youmust try "The Elvis". I won't spoil it for you. Read more
