Reviews for Panera Bread in Carlsbad, CA
This place is a complete rip off. $40 for two sandwiches. Chicken sandwich at McDonald's is better.
Came here with the wife and daughter and my wife ordered Chicken chipotle sandwich of some sort and her reply is she didnt like... that the bread was to thick and chicken didnt have any chipotle taste or flavor at all. I guess they use bacon bits instead ofstrips as well? So me and my daughter decided to wait and go next door to Five Guys. Staff was great though that's for sure veryknowledgeable and very helpful (and very patient) Read more
This place is fine. I go there to work when my dog is at the nearby VCA. The people are nice enough, it just isn't run terribly... well. Their espresso machine has been down for maybe 2 months now (I've been going to the vet a lot!) and they can't even makehot chocolate without it. (They could, but they won't.) It's usually pretty empty and easy to get one of the 4 outlets in theplace for your various electronics and there are typically others working from there. Their food quality is what you'd expectfrom any Panera, it's just the management that seems questionable. Read more
Poor experience overall. Lots of little things that in isolation aren't that big of a deal, but they added up to a frustrating... experience. When it was our turn to order the girl at the register seemed annoyed to have customers. My wife has a dairyallergy so we asked for her food to not have cheese and we asked for it to-go. When we picked up our food it was prepped fordine-in, but the lady behind the counter kindly repacked it for us. Later when we were ready to eat, it turned out that mywife's order had all the dairy on it and she was unable to eat it, so it appeared that the girl taking orders might have beenhaving an off-day. We didn't have time to go back to Panera, so we called 4 times over an hour and were never able to getthrough. The line would just hang up after a few minutes of ringing. This was the "call to place an order" phone number, soperhaps they just didn't want the business? We were really looking forward to a nice lunch date but it's pretty disappointingwhen one person can't have their lunch. Read more
Perfection! We ordered yummy sandwiches, soups and a kid?s meal. The food was great as usual but the thing that really stood... out for me was the curbside service. Phenomenal!! I couldn?t believe how fast they had our food out to us. When the food wasfinished we received a text, a minute later it was at our car. So fast AND accurate!! I was shocked. When we opened the bagto eat, we found everything was perfectly packaged to keep things warm and protected. We used the Panera app for iPhone toorder and pay. Such a quick and easy download, used Apple Pay so no need to enter personal information. This process could nothave been easier. Congratulations Panera for a stand out experience! Read more
Usually pretty good- I stop here on my lunch frequently and they?re quick and efficient. Today was a different story. I swung by... on my way in to work, waited forever for a bagel and a fruit cup. Bagel was burnt. I?m not sure why you would give that to acustomer in the first place. Super disappointing because they weren?t busy at all. Read more

Most BASIC Chicken Caesar Salad you could ever imagine. It's the equivalent of what they serve kids at summer camp.
