Had a very solid dining experience at Nick's. The food was excellent and the prices were pretty reasonable. Nick did an... excellent job making our group feel welcome giving great recommendations for the food. While the food was great the mixed drinksreally stole the show I would highly recommend any of them. Super happy Carlsbad is finally getting some great places to eatout. Read more

We enjoyed a lovely date night at Nick's on State. Our server was attentive and made wonderful recommendations. We enjoyed the... Asparagus Fries and Shrimp Taquito appetizers, then a mid course of the Steak House Salad, which featured and amazing warmpotato salad, and wedge of blue cheese, and finished with the epic Cioppino and Chilean Sea Bass.
