So I went to Hennessy's tonight to Sing karaoke and have dinner. Not one waitress asked me if I wanted a menu or something to... drink. I waited over an hour. I was very disappointed in the laziness of the of the service staff tonight. I usually go onTuesday morning and have breakfast and Amanda waits on me and David. She is an excellent waitress and I always tip her verywell. I also observed the few times have gone to karaoke that the waitress staff play favorites. I own my own business I have myfavorites but everybody gets the same great service from me. I had a very nice conversation with the lady manager as I wascoming in. I told her I was impressed with her example on how she helps out her staff. It's too bad her waitress staff has notlearned anything from her. When I've eaten the food there the food has always been excellent. Maybe the ownership should ask thenight crew if they really want to wait tables and make money? It seems like they do not. I gave Hennessy's an F for servicetonight. Hopefully it will improve the next time I go if I decide I want to go again. Read more
It?s sad to see what this place has become! They used to have a happy hour menu that offered lots of choices some were really... good, now it?s down to four or five items. We tried three of them and were very disappointed. The chicken bites had to beredone after biting into a raw chicken bite. Now I know why it was so empty! I will say the staff is fantastic but whoever ownsor manages this place needs to revisit the happy hour choices. The ahi was the best choice. Buffalo cauliflower and chicken wereterrible! How about some bbq chicken wings without being covered with that nasty breading or a nice flatbread pizza. I have aterrible stomach ache now and will not return until things change. I think it?s time for bar rescue to step in. I felt bad forthe servers who were sitting in the bar area on there phones because it was so dead they had nothing to do. My wife and I went here for lunch today and I've always liked coming here when I'm in town. The staff is genuinely nice and... helpful. My wife got the all American burger and it was good as always I decided to get the fish and chips, I would say don'tget the fish and chips, I know I won't again. The breading was very dark brown and the fish was yellowish and chewy. I'massuming it was just very over cooked. Over all I will go back next time I'm down but I'll just stick to one of the burgers.Lesson learned. Cheers. Read more

From out of town, exploring at night- Oh my goodness... stopped in and listened to an excellent band-- I think they were called... something like Kasivas. They were soo good! This is a nice place, with nice staff. Highly recommended ???? Read more

Heard this amazing band from outside... Came in, had to stay. Good food, drinks, people the scene is awesome in Carlsbad!
