Best pho in North County. We moved home to Carlsbad after 12 years in Seattle which as some of the best Vietnamese restaurants... and this District 1?s broth and preparation is on par with those in Seattle. We order from here at least once a week. Read more

A nice find all the way in the back of the food court, it was too hot for pho so I got the bún - rice vermicelli noodles with... pork and beef. Got the food under 5 mins, the char-grilled meat smelled heavenly, the sauce smells funky as it should be. Myonly complaint is that there was not enough noodles and veggies! Read more

Saw this place on YELP in the Legoland area. Was so excited when we realized it was located in a food hall. We ordered the beef... Bahn Mi, the Beef Vermicelli bowl, and Fresh rolls. The peanut sauce with the fresh rolls was perfect. The food was great andthe atmosphere of the Windmill Food Haul made the lunch experience that much more enjoyable. The food was delicious and the foodportions were perfect. The price was also agreeable. I def recommend a visit. Read more

The pho itself was a solid 4, but an absolute 5 for the innovative take packaging. Usually pho is challenging to transport but... they made it so easy (reference photos). The location is also worth checking out. In a modern food court in Carlsbad, there aretons of various vendors with food options and comfy places to sit. Read more

Felt like some Vietnamese food after hiking around the Flat Rock with the family. We ordered the Banh Mi sandwich with chicken,... the Bun (rice vermicelli) with pork and egg rolls, and the Pho with chicken and chicken broth. I would say the Banh Mi and Bunwere not the best I've had, and I would not order them again. However, the Pho was really pho-nomenal! THAT I would order again, and again, and again. I gotta try that Shakin' Beef next time too. Read more

The Pho Tai is decent. The soup is light in flavor and on the sweeter side. It?s not to my liking - 2 stars for being edible.... However, there?s a lot of meat and it?s very tender?so 3 stars. Side note: when I said pho ?tai? (with the correct accent), thecashier corrected me and said pho ?thai? (like in Thailand). I think they should at least know how to pronounce their menu itemsbefore correcting others. Read more
