Called ahead to order $50 worth of pizzas only to find out a new rule they have in which only membership holders can buy and... pick up food . Worst part is I Wasn?t told over the phone about this and the cashier girl telling me this news had a horribleattitude and smirk. I Wasted an hour of my day and was hoping to feed my hardworking work crew. These are the best food prices you will find in Carlsbad. The hot dog and drink for 1.50 is a legendary deal. The hamburger is... quite good and the churro is a must buy. I would recommend the açaí bowl but it can be hit or miss. The pizza is perfect forlarge groups. The staff here are the most efficient of any Costco I?ve seen, two thumbs up. Read more
Worst customer service at food court. I worked at a different Costco years ago and know their policies. The employees don?t... follow them. Expect to wait 35-45 minutes for food a result. I waited 35 minutes for a pizza that I called in even though I gotthere after their ?35 minute wait?. Waited in two lines first to pay then the pick up even though it was ready when I payed.Then nobody helped the pickup window for ten minutes. I called for help from the window and they told me to wait again. Read more

I like their food court, however today when I went the tables were very dirty. Ever since they started to use Pepsi products... the area the sodas are in is always filthy. Today was dirtier than normal. I complained about it twice including to a managerand it was never cleaned. Last, because they have moved all the trash cans to the area by the parking lot there are none nearthe drinks or condiments. So people are throwing their trash, used plates, etc under the onions. I prefer this Costco to allthe others, but I have to say that the San Marcos, CA Costco food court does an excellent job at keeling the food court wellmaintained and clean. I hope the management at the Carlsbad food court is listening. Each time I go there is has been gettingprogressively filthier. Time to clean it up and keep it up. Read more
