The sandwich was surprisingly well made. The bread was good and it was a large sandwich for the money. Overall good value. The... beer selection is terrible, The only IPA they have is from Bergen and it tastes like soap. When you enter the building it isconfusing where to order and if there is a line. There was a line of people that were all waiting for their food. I ate in therestaurant and saw multiple people enter who were also confused where to go. Nice people, but ordered 10 sandwiches and even though the printout showed exactly what I ordered, six out of ten were... mislabeled and two extra who knows what and missing two. You are kind of stuck, because the the sandwiches are wrapped, so youcan't really check them. I waited about 20 minutes and I am very disappointed. I called and was told they could make up thetwo and give me a refund, but it is not about the money. This was a personal gesture for the Dad's in my office for Father'sDay. Came here with a friend for lunch. Sandwiches are delicious and large (as in piled high). We split the Turkado sandwich. You can... get their sauce on the side to dip your sandwich in. I recently went to this Board & Brew and noticed one of the breads used is sq*** bread. This is a derogatory term for Native... American women and girls. In November 2021, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland (a Native American woman herself) formed a task forceand declared the word "squaw" derogatory. The federal government is working on renaming all of the 660+ placenames in the U.S.with the term. Additionally, there have been other efforts to remove the term outside of federal lands as well, such asRiverside's Backstreet Restaurant in 2015 and Palisades Tahoe ski resort in 2021. A quick Google search provides articles onethis. Please rename this bread as soon as possible. I understand that this is standard naming for all Board & Brew locationsand menus. I also understand that this is a type of bread and this name is commonly used. However, that does not change the factthat this business is using a derogatory slur. This can change. Other business have changed the name to just "brown bread." I amleaving a one star review here because I have not heard back from Board & Brew corporate on my requests sent to the companyemail and website on July 6 and 18, 2022. Please work to change this bread name here and with Board & Brew corporate. I havegreatly enjoyed eating and drinking at Board & Brew over the years. And hope to continue to do so.
